hello all....1/2 lb this week...I guess it's better than 1/2 lb up!!!!

Hello All!!! Another week gone by..I'm 216.5 as of this morning...I don't remember what I was last week..gotta check the ticker .....Well ...good luck for another losing week!!!

I have Cigna...denied in Jan 05 after doing all the prerequist...They said I didn't have 6 consequetive months of seeing a dr. about weight lost issues...Now they don't pay for weight consultations so I went with back pain,blood pressure, pain in general...etc and then discussed weight loss and my progress while I was there.. and as soon as my 6 months were up they Approved!!!Good luck ..it can be done...P.S. I friend of mine did this at the same time and she lost weight on the 6 month dr plan and then they denied her cause she was now not over 100lbs over weight...

hi, I used the other psych dr recommended...Oh my lord i can't remember his name..well he's not doing them anymore....I heard great things about Mauri in Goshen and i wish I would have used her!!!

Weigh in today!!!!Wow 1Lb...1 week!!!! (I'm being sarcastic) Oh well, maybe next week.. 217lbs

Hey I want to join....my 1st challenge...my weight today sunday 9/25 = 219.5...I'll weighin next monday. My goal is to be 199...so that's 20lbs...when does this challenge finish?

I read the book...it was fantastic...I believe every word of it!!!

EEEHello July Buddies!!!! I was banded 7/13/05 and have lost a total of 33lbs...that pre and post banding...12 before and the rest post...I'm very happy because it's going down but I have to admit i wish it were faster....I up to my 3rd fill and feel a little restriction but I do eat almost everything....I'm basically very happy with my band...I don't know if I've gone down any dress size cause I'm uasually in uniform ( which is getting Very large) and my med for blood pressure is down by half..so that 's also a plus...anyway looking forward to seeing all july"s achievement's!!!!! and WAY TO GO JULY BANDERS..I THINK WERE ALL DOING GREAT!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss..I lost my father 3/12/99 and to this day I miss him everyday of my life..But rest assure that although the void is there..it gets easier with time..and then the memories will carry you thru...My prayers are with you and your family at this time of grief....Cindy

Just got back from the dr. and I lost 6 lbs in a little over 2 weeks and I'm shocked and realllllly excited! I put my scale away like you guys suggested cause it wasn't moving and I was getting frustrated....Now, I thought I either gained or didn't lose because I can eat everything but I guess I ate smaller "everythings"...I also got a little fill (0.25) so right now I floating Happy!!!Thanks guys for always being there with great advice!!!!!.....Cindy

That's graet news Alex...I'm happy everything turned out A-OK!!!!

Since being banded I'm always FREEZING!!!!Doc told me the same thing about the being cold as you lose weight..I guess I'll be investing in sweaters this winter since I usually wear a like jacket and no sweater during the winter months...LOL

I was banded 7/13/05...Before surgery 254.5....surgery date 243...today224.5...30 lbs since I started..18.5 since surgery..wow..I'm excited..I think maybe I can do this ...going for my 3rd fill tuesday cause I fell no restriction...Can eat anything and everything...
