Hey All July 2005 Bandits....Happy Bandiversery To all of us!!:clap2: I've lost 68lbs, went from size 22 to 14. No more high blood pressure pills (2 daily) no more anti depressants..no more NOTHING except liquid vitamins!!!!Have a new found energy...don't need as much sleep..have more confidence but still need to come out of this damn shell!!!:nervous Anyway I'm relly pysched!!!! and looking foward to my 2nd year weight loss ..Cindy

Hi, I went to Costa dorada in Dominican Republic Oct 04 and had a blast...All inclusive and thought I'd gain with all the drinking and eating but i came back weighing in the same...I envy you cause I had a BLAST!!!! I even swam with the dolphins!!!

Hello July 05 Bandits!!!!:clap2: ...I was banded 7/13/05 and have lost 68 lbs. I am VERY happy!!! I thought it would have been closer to 100 but I was being over zealous and I have to admit I didn't exercise enough. If i had to do it all again...I'd be right there AGAIN!! I'm really excited to see everyone's progress. I think we should take pics and post them if we didn't do so already....EVERYONE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!...Cindy

Cigna paid for my band 7/05. I also had to see the PCP for 6 months before approval and I always went for something else besides the weight loss and while I was there discussed those the weight loss issues and they were documented...because cigna will cover the band but not to see your PCP for weight loss (crazy!!!).....Six months goes by flying...trust me..I was so dissappointed when I was first denied cause of the 6mth thing..I had everything ready(endoscopy,psyc. eval. stress test, etc) HANG in there.........Cindy

Hi...I'm an xray tech and yes its the same thing..Did they use IV contrast on you also? Gastrographin is another way they can do a GI swallow on you if need be...Hope this helps.........Cindy

I had some major gas that bought me to the ER. It was gastritis. Even thou I had no reflux I was on Nexium. And I was also constipated. I'm feeling better now but the dr took me off of raw vegs including salads for a while. Now vegs have to cooked and NO broccoli,califlower,cabbage etc...gassy vegs Goog luck and alot of gas x...............Cindy
