Mandi, I had lap band surgery 2 1/2 wks ago. I had not had any problems until 2 days ago when I noticed the incision above my navel had a raised circular area around it. As I looked closer, I noticed slight drainage from one end of the incision. It was "watery" and clear, tinged with red and yellow. I freaked!! Called my doctor, saw me that afternoon. He prescribed antibiotics and said that this was not a major problem - to wash the area 3X daily with bacterial soap and water and place a loose bandage over it. The next AM the area was red and draining more, but by that night was looking much better and no drainage. Am still taking my antibiotic and the area is almost completely healed. You'll feel much better after you see your surgeon. Hope all goes well. Aliveagain
