Same here. I want to drink without being scared of an air bubble. I want to lay down without being scared I'm going to pop a stitch lol.

Don't beat yourself up about the slip up... You'll do fine. This is just practice for the after party ???? lol. After the surgery u won't even be hungry at least for a few days.

I had my sleeve on Thursday the 11th. Anyone sleeve the same day? I'm sipping everything... Trying to avoid pain when I swallow.

I finally had my surgery yesterday. I flew to Dallas yesterday morning and flew back home today. It hurts to swallow but I'm getting better at it. So glad to see my Nov 24th buddies are doing well.

I'm delayed bcz of an electrical issue... Hoping it's just a hiccup and we can get this show moving along. Update: rescheduled for tmrw. Better safe than sorry. Grrr!

We can do this guys. 24hrs from now we'll be different. We won't be preop buddies. We'll be post op buddies. Every year when Thanksgiving comes around when ppl are finding their fat pants, we'll bw celebrating the day we said goodbye to our fat pants.

So how are the nerves? I'm due at the hospital at 6am on Monday. I have to be up at 4am to take a pill called emend (for nausea). I'm super nervous but excited for this journey.

One week to go....

I'm feeling better today on day 3. I was dying Monday, yesterday I was down and depressed, and today I'm good. I can do this. It's starting to hit me... In just a little over a week my life is changing again.

I've added those that requested.... I need the boost and moral support.

I was feeling down about everything and rethinking my surgery but your post has given me a boost. Can't wait for the 24th.
