  1. I used Chantix to quit smoking. It has been a year in October. I decided to quit before I thought about the band. It was real easy with the pills and I only took the first month. I had my surgery on 10/08/07 and I have lost 27 lbs. Stefanie:clap2:
  2. Hi, I was banded on the 8th of October and this past week had been the worse for gas pains. I could barely more they hurt so bad. I husband went and bought me some heat patches and put them were the pain was. I left them on for 2 days and now I am actually able to pass the gas and I feel alot better. Stefanie
  3. Is anyone having trouble sleeping at night? I haven't been able to sleep at night since my surgery. I toss and turn and usually by 4am I fall asleep. Anyone else?
  4. My doctor told me that the number on the spirometer wasn't that important, it just that they want you pushing a consistant amount of air through your lungs. I had a breathing treatment before and after surgery and everything was OK. I also quit smoking a year ago using Chantix and I have asthma. Since my surgery I haven't had to use my inhaler. I had my surgery on the 18th of October and I have lost 22 lbs. My first fill is 11/25/07
  5. Hi, I had my surgery on the 8th of October. I am glad I had it done. I am still sore where my port is, but the rest of me is so itchy I can't stand it. I constantly have an ice pack on my belly. Today was my 1st day of mushies and I had mashed potatoes and oatmeal. Not bad. I hope the rest of you are doing well. Stefanie:rolleyes:
  6. :pI am getting banded on Monday the 8th and I can wait......I figured if I can survive heart surgery this should be a breeze...Ha ha Stefanie
