Banded and extremely sore all over
I Remember Thinking Omg What Have I Done? I Was So Sore When I Woke Up From Surgeryand Then Had To Get In My Husbands Honda Civic For The 5 Mile Ride Home I Thought I Would Die. Then I Got Home And Stayed In Bed As Much As Possible. I Even Needed Help To Walk To The Br. My Surgery Was On A Friday And I Went Back To Work On Monday With Very Little Soreness. So It Doesn't Usually Last Long! Thank Goodness. But That First Day Was Horrible......

Who Did You Tell?
Randi You Are Only About A Month Out. Give It Time. It Will Come Off It's Been Almost A Year For Me And 93lbs Slow But Sure. I Was Discouraged At First Cause It Didn't Change My Perception Of Me. 2-3 Lbs A Week Is All You Need To Do And Some Times It May Slow Down To 2-3lbs A Month Don't Give Up On Yourself. You Haven't Even Gotten Your First Fill Yet, Right? You Can Do It.

Who Did You Tell?
I Tell Anyone That Ask About My Weight Loss. I Can't Just Say I Did It On My Own By Watching What I Ate And Exercise. I Just Can't Lie About It. If Anyone Wants Info On It I Always Give Them What I Know And Encourage Them To Go The Way Of The Band And Not The Bypass. I Don't Go Around Advertising That I Had The Band Surgery Either, At Least Not Until I Can Get Paid For It, Haha.i Am Happy About It. At First I Wasn't Going To Tell Distant Family Members But Then I Thought Hey Why Not? If They Are Going To Judge You For The Band Then They Have Already Judged You For Being Fat... At Least This Way You Don't Have To Worry About Keeping Track Of Who You Told And Who They Told Just To Keep A Little White Lie Afloat....

Wedding Band ~ How loose is yours?
I Had To Have Mine Sized After They Got Too Big To Even Wear On My Middle Finger. I Went From A Size 8 3/4 To A Size 7 I Almost Fainted When The Guy At Jareds Gave Me The Number. I Can't Ever Remember Wearing A 7. I Am So Happy With That.

Secret Women's Business :)
Over the last few years my periods have been really heavy, but since being banded they are not at all heavy I would say they are "normal". When you have surgery your body does some weird things do to the stress that is put on it. It may straighten itself out on it's own w/o help from the GYN. depending on how long it has been since you have had surgery. Also when you are overweight your period may be messed up just from that and the stress it has on it from wt loss. Stress has alot to do with irregularity. jamie
