  3. I have surgery June 25th. I'm so scaredddddd
  4. When I was ready to be banded my Dr have me a script for anti nausea meds. He told me they would be my best friend for the rest of my life. He said anytime I felt nauseous at all to take one. I haven't had surgery yet as I switched to the sleeve and am scheduled for surgery on June 25th. All I know is my Dr told me I was able to take the anti nausea pills any time from the second I woke up. So I don't see it being an issue at all but it's always good to call your dr
  5. Also not to offend anyone but I am also looking for someone near my age who would be willing to talk? It's always nice to speak to someone close in age who is going through the same things as you!
  6. I feel 90x better about it all after the visit I had today. I know I will be alright. Its all mind over matter. The entire process really is. 2 years now I have been going through this and now I am here and ready
  7. Well I went today and switched my surgery from band to sleeve. I talked to the doctor about my concerns and fears and he did a awesome job at making me feel better. Now I'm all ready and scheduled for surgery on 6/26!
  8. I was scheduled for lap band surgery in January but my son became ill and was hospitalized for a bit and I wasn't able to keep the surgery date. Some time has passed and he is better and I decided to change my surgery to the sleeve and I go tomorrow to switch and schedule surgery. I'm just scared that something will happen to me during surgery and I won't wake up and be here for my son. Its driving me up a wall
  9. I'm so overwhelmed with crazy scared and mixed feelings! Just tell me I'm not alone lol
