  1. How did it go? Updates? I'm looking into Dr. Illan as well and would love any feedback
  2. I feel your pain...absolutely hate it when my pump acts up and BS gets so high! I usually end up taking insulin with a syringe so it's a faster dose....I've had a few of those (pump malfunction) in the past month and honestly it takes a toll on you! I think it's the current box of supplies I'm using. Hope your doing better now!
  3. Thank you ladies for all the info!
  4. Thanks for the update Teachamy! Another question for you...how was the pain? And how long did it take to heal since healing takes forever....and be up and about? Can you still see the scars? I've gotten my gallbladder taken out years ago and remember how painful it was and don't want to feel like that again. I don't have much pain tolerance anymore I'm THISCLOSE in making an appointment because I think this is what I need for my diabetes and PCOS, but still hesitating.
  5. How are all of you doing now? I'm also T1 on an insulin pump, taking Metformin and Victoza (I think I'm a Type 1.5 now) and thinking of getting sleeved but I'm not sure about the highs/lows. My A1C is amazing right now...it's 7 but my weight has been the same for the past year...can't lose weight regardless of what diet, meds, anything I do So frustrated
  6. I'm in the same boat as you, except my BMI is like 31 (so a few lbs more then you) and I'm terrified at the thought of getting surgery BUT I have so many health problems....I'm not sure :/ Still contemplating on what to do....:/
