Hi anewme2015, how is your progress so far? My surgery is scheduled for Jan 21st. Getting kind of nervous but also excited to finally start this journey. -
I started in March 2014 and will have surgery in January 2015. I'm almost there. Can't wait ????

I do too however it takes a very long time from the time you have decided that you want this until the actual procedure. I think 6 months should be more than enough time to weed out the people that are serious and really want this.

I have to meet with the nutritionist next Friday and then hopefully they will tell me when I can meet the surgeon. I'm hoping to have the surgery by the end of the year but I think that's wishful thinking. -

The band is not covered. Only the bypass and sometimes the sleeve.
