  1. Thanks for the share. I had to get prescription laxative and stool softener. Nothing is working. Ughhhh. Sending my honey to Walgreens asap for that drink.
  2. I live in North Fall River/ Weaver and Main
  3. When you go Monday make sure she says everything is in order. I had to do a rush lab. Somehow one of the test wasn't checked off so it didn't get done. I was HOTT!
  4. Hopefully you will find out like I did on the last appointment. Then you have to wait for a call from the scheduler.
  5. How's everything going have you heard anything yet?
  6. oh no Karen I really hope I never get that it sounds severely unpleasant.
  7. lol I was thinking I hope I don't get that, whatever it is.
  8. woo hoo your all set you should know by the time you do your last doctor visit. I was told surgery needed to be done within 30 days of the last doctors visit. I say give it two weeks before you start calling them. I kept calling because no one seem to know when my information was sent up. Mass health insurance kept saying they hadn't received a request. Like I said before the communication there sucks. Sounds like you should be good soon.
  9. I had to do 3 workshops before they would even send up the insurance request. I started the process in May. Sleeved August 19th. My last workshop was July 22nd I went in July 30th for my last Dr Visit he checked my approval and asked me to come in the next day. Of course that wasn't going to work but he was ready if I was. If the office has it together you can be done fairly quickly. I guess it depends on if you have to do workshops or not.
  10. I hope not either the extra stress was rough with my high blood pressure. I hope everything works out for you. And don't forget to walk, walk, walk the halls of Tobey Hospital. The gas is brutal but you won't be alone. Good luck.
  11. Ugh yes I'm 36 and it's killing me. I stopped taking Biotin to stopped the break outs before surgery but I'm five weeks out and it has flared up again. I had no idea why either.
  12. I know it I felt the same way. Like how is this difficult for you all. Don't you do this every day? The office has a serious lack of communication skills. Thank the Lord the Doctors are excellent as well as the staff at Tobey.
  13. Hello All I have BMC mass health I had my sleeve done at Tobey Hospital August 19th buy Dr Krueger. My approval took a couple weeks I had to be proactive. I got the run around. It was a pain in the but. They kept saying it will be send in but no one ever knew if it was. In the end I found out someone sent it in July 22nd last day of my workshop. And Dr Krueger told me I was approved on the 30th while I was there for my nurses education class and last visit with him.
  14. Welcome to the group. No its not a runners only group. That's just something a few ladies are doing. I'm only a month out and no way can I do all that running just yet.
  15. Hello All I made through my first month. Didn't reach my 30 pound goal lost 24 pounds. Stalled for a week. Killing my bad knee at the gym and stalling is making me cranky. Hopefully my second month with go better.
  16. I'm jealous you have a Ross to shop at I move to New England last summer almost died when I found out no more Ross. Lol The Marshall here suck. Guess Wal-Mart it is as I go back down the scale. Congratulations on your weight loss thus far
  17. Hello All I was sleeved August 19th I'm down 17 pounds. I've decided only to weight myself once a week or go nuts. I lost 26 pounds pre op. My incision still bugs me so I can't swim like I want to just yet. Congratulations and good luck to you all.
  18. I'm so ready to hit the pool and start really working out,Dr told me I can start swimming next week. I'm really thinking about training for a fun run( and I hate running). Any of you tried a fun run or one of the mud courses?
  19. Had my surgery August 19th and I'm so hungry it's making me crazy. How can I be hungry? All my gas is gone not too much pain going on just starving full liquids is not working out. Am I doing something wrong?
  20. Ok folks it's been five days since my surgery and I'm so hungry I feel like Godzilla. What is going on. How can I be this hungry so soon. I'm following my diet which is full liquids. Shakes and yogurt all day is not working. Am I missing something?
  21. Surgery went well yesterday going home tomorrow, as long as I can get this gas pain and nausea under control. Good look to those waiting your turn.
  22. Surgery went well except my blood pressure was doing its own thing. Not too much pain other than the astronomical gas pain in my chest that wants to hang on for a while. Lord willing I can go home tomorrow as long as the gas and extreme nausea subside. Thanks for all the well wishes. Will keep you all posted.
