I've never heard of a drain? What is this?

That is awesome!! I have been looking for people who have already gone through the process there. I am in my 4th month at geisinger!!! Out of all the people that you know have any had problems?! I am very nervous about surgical complications. I know of one girl who went there and has had problem after problem. I get so nervous about everything. Would love to hear any and all stories relating to geisinger!!!

Thank you so much! What were some of the things you did prior to surgery that helped you get ready and to ready you for your new lifestyle? I don't feel like I am given enough information (or even time) at my appointments. I almost feel like they are just going through the motions that need to be done in order for me to have the surgery.

Good afternoon- I am in the 4th month of the pre surgery steps.. I have some questions for people who have already had the sleeve done- Do you feel tired all the time? Do you get sick a lot? Any surgery complications? Do you regret the surgery at all? Any tips for those who haven't had the surgery yet?? Are you able to drink soda post surgery? Thank you for your time. I am so nervous about everything!! Especially the tired and complications part. I have 2 small boys and I gotta be there for them!! Thanks again for your time!! I really appreciate it. ???????????? Hey guys! I am looking at like October/ November surgery. I have been looking for someone to go through this journey with and Support each other. I really don't feel like I learn to much at my dr appts and classes... It all feels rushed and that worries me.. Anyways.. Like I said I would love to find a group of support

Hello. I am new to the journey and I have gone to Geisinger, I live in the Williamsport area . I am so glad to have found you! How was your surgery & how are you today? I spoke with Dr. Petrick and he will be the one doing my surgery but like I said I am in the very beginning stages of the process. Who was your surgeon? I am very nervous about the actual procedure. Going under scares me to death and the complications do also...!

Hi everyone. I am new to this journey and have been looking for a forum just like this. At first I was leaning towards sleeve but the more I think about it I think I may want gastric bypass. I don't really know. I've had a consult earlier this month and I have another appt set in June. This is just the beginning but I am SO excited!!! I just hope I can stick with everything. :) I'm sure I can with the right support! What is everyone else leaning towards, sleeve or bypass, and why? Thanks guys!
