  4. Congrats!! That's so incredible! This post as motivated me so much! I had my sleeve on the 14th and aside from the gas pains I have felt phenomenal!! I told my husband I was scared they didn't do it right because I expected to feel miserable! I'm 25 lbs down now, which is amazing to see and I got cleared at my post opp yesterday, so I will be at the gym Monday -Friday! I don't have the money at the moment for a personal trainer but my sister has been a huge support! Good luck on the rest of your journey!
  5. Can't believe how exciting this is for me!!! I had my third child in April of this year, and I maxed out at 336! Started my 2 week liquid diet on June 30th at 319 and had my sleeve on July 14th!! Went in for my post op yesterday and I am down to 294!!! Couldn't believe it!! It's so exciting to see the weight coming off!!!
  6. I had my surgery on July 14th! Gas pains made me feel like I was dying! My goodness, but walking very much helped! I've been living off of broth and Popsicles! Ready to be a functioning member of society again :-)!post op is scheduled for the 24th. I'm so glad I had this done, I'd love to be healthy and happy again!
  7. You're from Dallas!!! That's where I'm having my surgery. Who are you using? I'm there frequently if you want to meet up on one if my trips and have lunch or coffee :-)
  8. I'm from Abilene , TX
  9. I'm with BCBS of IL , my insurance had the same requirements minus the supervised diet. I went for my consultation on May 6th. Completed my labs, psych eval, sleep study, nutrition class, and cardiac stress test in May and submitted for approval to my insurance on May 21st. Received my approval a week ago and just scheduled my surgery today for July 14th. So from my consultation to my scheduling was 5 weeks and 10 weeks from consultation to surgery date, due to the two week liquid diet prior to surgery as well as an EGD. Everything happened so quickly and I'm so excited!
  10. I just received my surgery date of 07/14/2014!! I'm 5'9 and 300 lbs. Would love a surgery buddy!! I'm so nervous and so excited!! I'm ready to be healthy again!
