I know this is for post op people but I got a question???? Have y'all been told that your body will not absorb but 20 g of protein at a time? I though we were suppose to get in as much as we could in a day please help me!!!!

Good Luck my surgery is the 24 th I got to start my liquid diet too oh what joy but I'm looking forward to it simply because once I start it I know my surgery is around the corner.

I'm not having surgery till the 24th of June but I have pre op with my Nut., my surgeon, and the hospital all on the 16th I'm going to have Gastric Bypass.... Can anyone think of any good questions to ask? I have a list already just wondering what I may should ask. Thank you all!

Sounds like you were dehydrated... Are you getting enough fluids?

I don't have surgery till the 24th of June but my surgeon uses the DiVinci and he is the only one in that hospital the use one actually... He is one of the top rated surgeons in the world.

Yes lol I'm on my preop diet and haven't tried almond milk or anything but water that's a no go.... Have any hints for the preop diet?

Has any become lactose intolerant and had to mix with water? I just did just trying things out to see how I like them and vanilla with water is just NASTY!!!

Right now I only have two weightless goals the rest are going to be fitness goals but my first is at three months out I'd like to be 50 pounds less or more and then at 7 months I would like to be down a hundred pounds or more. Do you think those are crazy goals? Thanks sweetie!

I'm glad that insurance will cover plastic surgery if its medically necessary I'm praying I have that same luck.... I want a c cup implant and a boob lift too because its something I've wanted for years now. I've always ha plenty of Junk in the trunk and no head lights ever! My surgery is the 24th of June so hopefully it will all go well.

Lol I'm sorry I had to laugh just because I've said my entire life I was big boned and I already wear a 6.5/7 ring I can imagine what'll happen looking weight in my hands even my feet I'm scared to buy shoes cause everyone says your feet shrink after surgery. I also already have a small face so I'm also afraid of loosing weight in my face..... Crazy, huh?!?lol

My surgery date is June 24 Pre op date is the June 16 My liquid diet straits June 03 I'm just ready and scared, scared ill gain before survey ugh so many thoughts and feelings!!!
