What have your results been thus far?

My dr requires one week optifast preop diet.... My NUT said that most people struggle the first few days... Today being my first, I've actually done really well and I don't have any craving... Did any of you struggle...? Was it the beginning or the end? I am feeling pretty confident after today.... But just wondering how ur preop diets went?

I will be having surgery may 27 with mercy bariatrics at mercy suburban

I asked a similar last week... I'm due(pending approval from insurance) to be sleeved 5/27.. My daughter will be 9 months and just weighted in at 23 lbs...(28.5inches) I'm also a little worried for the first few weeks... If I end up going before you I will definitely let you know how it went.

Nothing yet... I'm kinda hoping they look at it that way:.. It's been a struggle and I dooooo just need this tool, fingers crossed...

That is my last weight, they are sending off for the go ahead... Let's see what happens. They are said to cover 100%. I'm not sure what the cost is... Shouldn't a doctor be able to let ya know?

A little nervous after signing my surgical consents today... Not because of the disclosures, but because the nurse navigator basically told me... The insurance may not approve because I had a gain. I was 303 at the start and am now 311... They are sending off for approval.... :-/ wondering if anyone with Aetna better health or medical assistance can ease my mind any... Surgery should be two weeks from tomorrow.

I wish you luck... I didn't want to wait until she is older and getting around more, so I'm just gonna hope and pray all goes well!

Fortunately i will have the help of my husband. He's home 3.5 days a week and the other days I am lining up friends and family to come take care of my little one... For maybe the first week or two

I'll be having vsg in a few short weeks(5/27) and at that time I'll have a 9month old little one... Anybody else that was in the same boat... Any pointers you could offer regarding recovery with a baby to deal with?
