All is well and I was brought a tray of liquids: jello, broth, tea, water ice. Water. Pain isn't bad and the nausea has gotta better since they took me off morphine drip- now I have a pain patch

  3. Apparently my Breast was hiding and incision. 4 and a drain
  4. Hey guys, I was sleeved this am. Im feeling alright, I've got 3 incisions (one with a drain) I'm dermabonded- no stitches or staples. I do feel a bit nauseous, but I was just wheeled up to my room and that may have contributed to that some.

  8. Nervous doesn't even being to describe the feelings running thru me right now. Surgery in two days, I'll be leaving behind my 9 month old for the longest time so far. I know that this is for the best and for our future... But I'm very scared right now
  9. Hey everyone. I'm going in on Tuesday. I got a little confused last night by some thing someone said regarding diet- during the first week of liquids.. Are u getting protein(taking protein shakes?) someone in my Instagram support group went off on a tangent saying no ur not supposed to. Protein was on my list of stock up items ( for the first week) from my doctor...
  10. I just signed up I'll let yll know how it goes ?
  11. My NUT said carrots, celery, cucumbers and lettuce were fine as a snack...
  12. It is a real struggle I only have to do 7 days liquid... I did wonderful the first four, aside from not eating all the optifast provided for me. today however. I'm irritable and hungry! I did cheat a little today but tries keeping it healthy at that
  13. May 27- in on day five of a seven day optifast- this "food" is pretty terrible. I did cheat today for the first time but I made a smart choice and have my own chicken broth vs their junk. Oh well
  14. I think that's completely normal... I've been on this journey for about four months and it's been filled with highs and lows and lots of anxiety about ugh just about everything... I know it will be worth it in the end. Tuesday is my big day!

  20. that sounds like it would be a nightmare... I told my husband he needed to prepare his own meals during this time. And my daughters baby food isn't appetizing so... So far sooo good
  21. Same my original date was set 4/28
  22. same surgery date- similar schedule... Just different requirements probably
  23. I went for a consult 1/20 and had things been properly documented then I would have been 4/28- I needed more weigh ins because of that and ended up with a 5/27 date. I think it all depends on ur insurance and how long they require u to be involved in the program. Mine required 3 months
  24. That's the thing, I did so well day 1.. And so far day 2- didn't want to seem cocky and say I got this... I do feel pretty confident in this thou...
