  1. Probably shouldn't have had them. I think I'm gonna go back to broth tomorrow. Potatoes were a little much I have found out through suggestions and my hurting chest.
  2. I do. But my instructions said on my third day I could have full liquids and blended soup. The potatoes were runny. But I think it was still to much. I'm just uncomfortable. But I can't tell if it's the hernia repair. I just feel tight in my chest.
  3. That sounds like so much to me. It took me over an hr to drink my 11 oz shake today. Did you feel like this five days out?
  4. Premier protein shake. Cup of mashed potatoes thined with chicken broth. I am so full. No more tonight. I'm 5 days post surgery.
  5. Love it. I just had my surgery last Wednesday. I just got done giving my surgeon's information to an employee of mine for her husband. That's the response I've been getting from folks. And she's thinking about it herself. People for the most part would love to get this surgery. it's becoming a way of life now. It has truly become "uncool" to be fat when you can do something about it. We are on our way and I'm glad we can inspire other to make this decision. Good luck to you! God bless.
  6. What week did you start soft foods? What types did you eat?
  7. You might need to go to another dr. You keep saying it's the dr that is not sure. You should qualify with as little as 30 BMI by FDA standards with either high blood pressure diabetes or sleep apnea. My insurance would not pay for my band but they paid for my hernia repair. I still had to finance 6900 though. Just had my surgery may 7th. I started my process in April. So mine moved pretty quick.
  8. Hello all. I got my lapband May 7th 2014. Today my directions say I can have some full liquids. So I have been sipping a Premier Protein shake for like an hour. I so afraid I'm gonna get choked up for some reason. I have not thrown up since the surgery. I know I don't have Fluid in my band yet. But I am trying to take it slow. I am determined to not have in negative episodes. How did you all do your first 3 days after surgery? My starting weight was 225. My weight on surgery date was 214. I am at 213 today.
