Incision Pain
I am almost 3 weeks out (19 days) and I just started experiencing some fairly intense pain in the incision they removed the stomach from. Has anyone else experienced this this far out from surgery? I am otherwise pain free. Also, I started sleeping on my stomach about a week out from surgery. Could this contribute?

When Do I Get My Energy Back?!?!?!
So glad to hear I'm not alone. Were many of you chronic mappers before surgery and, of so, has that subsided at all?

When Do I Get My Energy Back?!?!?!
I friends! Almost two weeks post op here, and doing well, despite being "hungrier" than I expected and pretty sick of Protein shakes, but that's not why I post. One of the main reasons I got the sleeve is to help my body get my energy back. At 381 pounds, I had obviously tired my body out, but I was too tired to do anything about it! Total catch 22! I also have mild sleep apnea and am on CPAP. I have needed (and I mean NEEDED) a mid-day nap every day for nearly 2 years. Sometimes it feels like it's in my head, but most of the time I physically can't go on with my day. Obviously, I am still in the recovery period, so I know there is a certain level of exhaustion that comes with that, but I would LOVE to hear some inspiring stories about people's changes in energy level, sociability, activity level, etc, after the sleeve!! THANK YOU!!

OMG I'm so tired of liquids...
OMG! This post just saved my life! I am 1 week out of surgery (8/8) and have had a pretty good recovery, but is am craving foods like crazy! I know so much of this is my head taking, but man, I didn't expect this part to be so hard. It's harder than the pre-op was for me. So glad to hear it will pass, but thank you so much for bringing this up!! Also, as hungry as I am, I am having a hard time getting more than 3 ozs of Protein in at a time, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to eat solid food if I tried. Does anyone notice their hunger lessen the protein they get in? Also, SAVORY SOUP RECOMMENDATIONS!! Everything Is sweet!!! I want something savory!! Help!!

One Week From Sleeve
Hi guys! My surgery is a week from tomorrow. August 8th. Sleeve with Dr Cunneen at Cedars. A few questions for some of you vets or recently sleeved, but would also take any suggestions or last minute advise you might have for me. - What scale do you use at home? - How often do you weigh yourself? - What are your favorite Protein drinks, which ones do you hate? - How much help did you need in recovery? - Any advise on marriage after sleeve? - Do you use MyFitnessPal or any other apps? - How often do you take your measurements? - How "prepared" did you feel for surgery? I feel kind of like I'm just jumping off a cliff and trusting there's Water below. I know these are a lot of random questions, but I guess it's a symptom of my pre-surgery nerves. Scattered thoughts.

2 Specific a Questions
Hi guys, So, I am new to the board and have a million questions as my surgery is (tentatively) a month away. 1) I am a 6'2" 381 lb 33 y/o man. I don't particularly want to get below 250 pounds. I know this is a ways off but once I get to that weight, is it possible to maintain that weight fairly easily? Any feedback in this area would be great. 2) I possibly have to travel for work approximately 28 days after surgery for 5 days. Anything I should expect traveling around the one month post op mark? Anyone feel that they wouldn't have been able to do that? Thanks in advance, Ryan
