  7. Where do you get these supplements? Can you buy them anywhere?
  8. Well I fell on the ice a few weeks ago and my butt has been hurting ever since. People keep joking its because I no longer have a butt LOL I have lost everything but this stupid stubborn stomach. Literally everything else one me has gotten tiny. I lost half my boobs but they have stayed the same for a while now. I cannot find the facebook group.
  9. What's the name of the Facebook group?

  13. Glad to see everyone is doing well! Yes Suzann I am also FREEZING! LOL I used to sleep on top of covers now I am buried under 3. Congratulations Devint on your go ahead to try and conceive. In July of 2013 I miscarried at 12 weeks. I tried to conceive again but it did not happen. My surgeon said I must wait 18 months even though my blood work is good. I have had to sign a "contract" to not get pregnant until that point. The sad part is that I will be 39 at 18 months so not sure I will even want to conceive at that point but it was a no win. The reason I couldn't conceive was my weight and now I can't conceive because of weight loss surgery - Oh the irony. So new question of the "weird things that happen to me, is it happening to anyone else". I have never been a junk food eater, I know that sounds untrue but trust me its true, and all of a sudden I want chips and chocolate. What's up with that???? Before surgery I never ate that stuff, I ate a lot of Pasta but NEVER chips and only occasionally chocolate. Anyone else craving bad stuff that they didn't even like before?

  16. I have always had a high desire even as a bigger person but almost immediately after surgery my desire completely left. Of course at first we couldn't anyways cuz the Dr said to wait 3 weeks but I had NO problem with that request. I have had zero interest since. I wasn't expected it to go up but I wasn't expecting it to down either. I feel bad for my husband, he has a thin wife now but she has no interest in being intimate with him.

  19. How's everyone doing? I have a personal question to ask and I hope its not TMI. Is anyone experiencing sexual issues since your weight loss? I have completely lost my desire for sex. It seems odd to me, I would have thought losing 65 lbs would make me want sex but it has had the opposite effect on me. I am hoping its temporary but its not something I really want to ask my surgeon about. Anyone else in this same boat?

  22. Yes I did my 6 month check up blood work and everything came back in normal range. My actual surgery area doesn't hurt me at all LOL. I am weird! Yea my collar bones are really poking out now also. I guess this is probably all just part of the process. I showed my mother the bone on my chest I was talking about and she said it was always like that, I guess I just forgot since I have spent 10 years with it covered in fat!

  26. SO I have a kind of odd question. Is anyone noticing that things hurt you more? For example my husband has always pulled me across the bed to cuddle with him (I am not a cuddler and this is his way of forcing me to cuddle LOL) well it never hurt but now its like it hurts my ribs and my stomach. I am not sure if he is using to much force because he thinks he needs more strength to pull me or if my bones are more sensative. I feel like it may be the latter. We moved some furniture around for Christmas decorations and I have bruises all over me and I very sore. I don't think I should be this sore since I exercise pretty frequently. Ok another weird thing - I am noticing that I have a bone that sticks out on my chest near my collar bone. I am wondering did something change or is it just not hidden by fat anymore? Anyone else experiencing weird stuff like this or should I talk to the Dr?
  27. That's awesome that you are doing so well! My surgeon said something kind of similiar. He said that the average loss is 60% of their excess weight in 18 months. I have lost 75%. He stated that I am going to have to work for the last 25% which I already knew.

  30. Went for my 6 month check up on Friday. Good news is that all my numbers look really good. I met with the nutritionist while I was there. We ran through my daily eating and exercising. She thinks I am not taking in enough calories and not drinking enough water. So I am going to try to eat more (ironic right) and drink more water and see if I can finally break this stall.
  31. I agree! It is scary how much and what I can eat now although I still stay at around 800 calories most days. I am also hungry way more than I used to be!
  32. I started at 221 and have lost 60 pounds. My insurance paid for my surgery but I had about $1000 out of pocket in co pays. I am sure my insurance would pay for me to see the nutrionist again, I will look into it. I have only seen her twice and both times were pre surgery.
  33. No I didn't take measurements I really wish I had! I know that I am down from a size 20 to a 10/12 and I am very happy about that! I am trying to just wait it out and be happy of where I am right now. At least I can buy clothes and not worry about them not fitting a week later. Is that the bright side?
