I have pre op testing tomorrow. I was wondering how long it takes nicotine to not show up on a test, meaning how long does it have to be since you smoked. I smoked a zero nicotine ecig and found out it had 0.7 nicotine in it. I puffed maybe once or twice on it the day before yesterday otherwise its been rarely. Will it show up on a test? Sorry to ask such questions, I know im a dummy. Thanks

I dont have family support going into the sleeve. I am a revision. My mom thinks its going to bomb like the lapband. I feel sad shes not on my side. I wish I didnt desire her approval. Im doing this for me. My siblings dont support me either. Feeling sad

Hi there, I am having my sleeve surgery on June 11. I am a lapband revision. I was just wondering I know there are others out there like me... I am nervous for more than the sleeve. I am having a hiatal hernia repaired and having my lap band removed.. Am I silly to worry about complications? Any contributions welcomed tia!

Was anyone or is anyone concerned with the permanence of the surgery? My date is June 11. Im pretty ok with it but still weary of losing half my stomach... how does everyone else feel? I think my therapist said I had to mourn that loss. Thanks

News flash :I negotiated with my mom I moved my surgery date and mom said I could stay with her. Thanks for all the well wishes

Did anyone not have family support but had surgery anyway? Mom and I do this weird dance where she provides stuff for me(I am disabled) but if I go ahead w surgery I would be afraid she would be spiteful and relinquish her help. And my sister says she's not supporting my decision because she loves me. Hhmph.

I had posted about this before. I am having my surgery on may 28. I live in community living for mental health and they said they cant be responsible for me physically after the surgery. So I have to stay somewhere else for a week My mom supported me at first now she is totally against the surgery. She had a commitment after I told her when my surgery was. She literally wont change the date. She is digging her heels in. I think she is scared for me to have the surgery and wont budge. I cannot have this surgery unless I have somewhere to go after. 2 of my friends offered up their places to me. One lives in a room and I would be sharing a bed with her and she is paranoid she has bedbugs(I dont think she has them) The other situation my friend is disabled and requires the help of an aide. Id be sleeping on a air mattress. I really dont want to put her out Does anyone know if I would qualify for rehab services for a week?(nursing care) this is my last resort I know I wont need any help everyone is just covering their ass not to be liable Please if anyone can help id be grateful.
