So as my surgery is getting closer (7/21/14) I absolutely want to be prepared. I have a list going....what are some things that is a must to take with me while im in the hospital n what do I need on my way home from hospital? Any suggestions would be much appreciated friends

Yay!!!! Super excited. I was already excited n today I just got my call with the approval from my insurance and got my surgery daTe JULY 21st! Cant wait..... go for my orders next thursday. Beyond excited. Im ready for this I got this....and best part about it I met my deductibles that I dont have to pay anything

So I too have UHC. Just found out at the beginning of the month of having to contact optimu health. Missed the appoint with my case worker nurse so had fo reschedule the call with her. Her name is Felisha. Thursday have my 5th NUT appt n hopefully get the ball rolling with the other appts I needed. Nervous and anxious at the same time.... any advice to make it a smoother process for the approval?

Yes I looked into it and researched it for over a year. Decided on the gastric hands down. N im getting excited, anxious, n I guess getting closer I just dont want any set backs..... thanks for those kind words..... what did u do when u got the approval... like u last meal, what did u pack and how was your experience?

HELLO ALL!!!!!! So I have to complete 6 visits with a nutritionist per my insurance. I have completed 4 already next visit will be my 5th and start my phyc eval, endoscopy, etc. But lately I have beef feeling that I wont get approved bc I dont have high blood pressure nor diabetes... just asthma. My BMI is 41... I have UHC insurance. Any advice or soothing words?
