10 days until my plastic surgery! AHHHHH I can't believe I am so close to a brand new me. I hadn't really starting worry about the pain until yesterday and now I am absoloutely freaking out. I am a big baby when it comes to pain. I just want to not be a huge burden to my family during my recovery. I am sure they will be ready to kill me by the time I can get up on my own. lol. My hubby took the 19-22 off. I have a couple of friends coming over on the 23 and 24 then my daughters will be home the 25 and 26. I really hope I will be ok after that since I will be alone. I am so nervous my band has tightened quite a bit. I lost another pound. I am going to have my hubby take some before naked pics day of surgery so I can really see the difference. I will try and post as much as possible after surgery. Please keep me in your prayers for a safe surgery and fast recovery :smile2:

I am getting a Tummy Tuck, Breast lift with Implants and lipo of the thighs on November 19. I am really starting to worry about the pain. How much pain can I expect? Also was there any things that helped you besides pain meds example pillows? etc? Any and all help would be appreciated! Less than 2 weeks now!

I am so glad you are still going to your consult. I am starting to get really nervous, but still really excited. Everyone that I tell that I am getting plastic surgery are like WHY?? I feel great with clothes on but holy moly when the clothes come off, granted it's a hell of alot better than pre band but I want to love the way my body looks naked as well :cursing: Our house has not sold yet. Which is actually a good thing as of now. We aren't being aggressive since our youngest doesn't graduate till June. We have had quiet a few showings but the back of our house is about 30 feet from a 2 lane road. I have faith that whatever is meant to happen will. It will sell when the time is right. I would freak if I had to deal with that right now with my surgery less than two weeks away! Thanks for all your encouragement!

Hey there Great! I am getting everything except the thigh lift done on Nov. 19th. I have to wait 3 months for the thigh lift. I wish they could do it all at once but as it is the surgery is going to be 6-8 hours. I am definetly getting my thighs done as soon as possible after this first surgery. He said 3-4 months. I am hoping to get it done before my 40th bday which is feb 26. I just want to be all done by then. Today I woke up and was sooo nervous, I have to stop thinking about it sooo much. I am so close now!!!

Hi Skinny, I did drop some more weight since my first consult I am not sure if it was 20 but it was more than 10 haha. I have been really blessed that my plateau's haven't been long. I am a full d now so like my hubby say's go big or go home haha. Please keep updating on your progress! I am really interested in how you do. I will keep you in my prayers xoxo

Hi there Kate! Congrats on your surgery date! I was told the first week was going to be horrible but should slowly get better after that. I really didn't ask alot of questions about the pain meds since I have a really low pain tolerance. I picked up my perscription which is percocets and they gave me 40 pills and said that I could have more if I needed. I will definetly be posting my progress here so hopefully that will help you

For me I waited until I reached goal weight. I go in two weeks for my plastic surgery! I didn't want to do it before goal because then I would just need to have another tummy tuck. Great job on your loss!!!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted lately been super busy! But today is two weeks until my surgery date! My preop went awesome and I am paid and ready to go! So it is official, Advanced tummy tuck with lipo body contouring, breast lift with under the muscle, silicone, double d implants and lipo of the thighs. I am soo excited, I went and did all my blood work yesterday and picked up my perscriptions. I am really nervous about the pain but know it will be worth it. I just can hardly wait to go shopping. I am wearing size 8 jeans now so will I be wearing size 6??? Bahh I can't even imagine it. I have been looking at my before band pics and seriously can't believe that was me. I hope everyone is doing great and I will be posting pics before and after as soon as I can. Have a great week everyone!

Wow. My doc says no to anything carbonated even if it sits. He said that it can stretch your pouch, which is something I never want to happen.

Hey VZ! Awesome job girl! I have lost over half my weight! It is crazy to think that just such a short time ago I was over twice the size I am now. BAHH. I am constantly thinking how lucky I am that I got the lapband when I did. I feel like an entirely new person, actually I feel like a sexy woman to be more specific. I was a happy overweight person but now I am really living life. I am all booked for my plastic surgery and actually paid for it! No turning back now. After talking with the doc I am getting the following done: breast lift with implants (under the muscle, silicone size : double D ) advanced tummy tuck - body contouring lipo and lipo of the thighs. In february I am getting a thigh lift to complete the transformation. I am so excited I can't stand it. I am a little worried that on Nov 23 and Nov 24 I won't have anyone here with me. Hubby started a new job and could only get the 19th and 20th off. I am trying to recruit friends to come babysit me lol. I hope everyone is well! I am worth more than any car could ever be and these surgery's will last longer than any car. I paid 18 grand for my lapband so why wouldn't I go the whole way? Why not I say you only live once! So I am diving in. I love the way my body looks now in clothes, the surgery will just make me love my body without clothes. I would still choose extra skin over fat any day and I was one of those people who spouted how I would rather be fat than have extra skin.. really??? That is just a bunch of bull! I was so miserable fat. I am so happy saggy skin and all. No one knows I have extra skin when I am dressed but everyone knew I was fat. So seriously don't worry about extra skin if that is what is holding you back from getting lapband, you are just looking for an excuse, which is what I did until I ended up almost having a heart attack from being so obese. Getting the lapband has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. Being thin has been worth all the money and hard work. The band is a tool not a cure. Big difference! Ok enough of my spouting. I am just sooo pro band! Wish me luck everyone!

Hey I never saw this post! Sorry it took me so long. No i never heard from them but I had fills scheduled every 2 weeks so I saw them often enough. I got my fills at the waterford, ct office, which they come up to twice a month. It looks like you are doing awesome, congrats. I actually go tomorrow for my preop plastic surgery appointment! I am getting a tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and lipo on the thighs done on nov 19. 2 months later I am getting a thigh lift. So excited. Anyway's congrats on the great work. xoxo:thumbup:

Hey there! How are you doing with the knee? I hate being layed up. It sucks. Especially knowing next month I will be miserable lol. I am still on the losing streak. My hubby is all over me about not losing anymore. This is the smallest I have been since high school maybe even middle school lol. I LOVE IT. :cryin: I have to stop buying clothes till after surgery.. I just love shopping now! I bought two pairs of jeans.. drum roll please size 6! They are tight now so should fit good after ps. :wink2:

hey Apples! I am hoping to have the tt and thighs done but have to ask dr if he can do both at same time. I figure if I am going to be in pain those are supposed to be the worst, why not do them together. My boobs are good but I want them to be great :thumbup: If you look at my pics and are a friend of mine you can see pics taken a couple months ago. I am a 36 DD and if I wear a bra they are fabulous I am only 39 so I figure if I can get them to look great why not. I plan on getting everything done since I worked so hard to lose all the weight. My hubby at first was against it but when I told him it was important to me for me, he said I could get whatever I wanted done. :cursing: I love the way I look in my clothes now and want to love the way i look naked. So within 6 months I will have tt, thighs and boobs done. :ohmy: Wow how the world do you eat 3000 calories a day! I struggle to eat 1200. I couldn't possible eat 3x that! I will post before and after pics as soon as possible! xoxo

Hi! I am getting closer and closer to my surgery date which it is November 19! I have my preop on October 28. I keep going back and forth on what to get done first. I am getting thighs, tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation done but doc wont do all at once. I am booked for the tummy tuck and breast lift with aug but I am thinking I might want to do the thigh lift and tummy tuck first. I am not sure if I can get them done together or not and will ask at my preop appt. I am still losing and I have been working out like crazy trying to be in the best shape I can for my surgery. I will update again after my appt , I am heading to florida on oct 13 for a week of fun in the sun. :thumbup:
