    Symptoms of Band Slipping

I was banded Sept 2007 and I had a fill about 6 weeks ago so I am due for another I have 6.5 cc now and the last fill it took me over a week to even be able to eat anything. Now the last week I have experienced alot of heart burn more at night to the point that it wakes me up and the Prilosec and tums do not due the trick and also been experiencing some shoulder pain when I do get something down. It sounds weird but could this be a slipped band? I have seen my Dr for a spot that we thought was a hernia but he does not think so I am not wondering if it is not to do with the band. I am very discouraged and at times wondering why I did this? My husband is getting upset with me because I can never eat anything

Having a hard Time staying on track

I was banded on September 2007 and I have had those days that I don't think that I am doing right. I still have struggles with foods like chicken today I can eat it and have no problems but then tomorrow I can eat it and it will not settel. I just tell myself hang in there and it will get better. You will find things that you will and will not be able to eat and it is okay to call someone for advise. I know I wonder at times on if I need to eat this and sometimes it is okay to eat a treat to treat yourself. HANG IN THERE AND THE FEELINGS WILL GET BETTER :P:( :sad:I'm having a hard time right now. I was banded on June 1tth and I ahve lost weight but I just don't feel like i am doing this right. I do typically beat myself up or expect too much of myself. I just don't want to be a failure at this. In the department of support I have hardly any positive help or encouragement. There is only a support group meeting in my area once a month and i won't be able to attend the one on July 2nd because I will be out of town. I feel like a bother calling the surgery center lady all the time. Like Oh god it's you again. I don't know what to eat or i feel like what i am eatting is all wrong. I have been working so hard up to this point and i feel like I don't know what to do next. I think i should be losing more and i'm not. i keep a food diary and its very honest. Oy! I don't know. Any suggestions would be very helpful and appreciated!!! XOXO Barbie

    Would you do it again?

I had surgery September 2007 and I am doen about 45-50 pounds and I started out bad too and just hang in there. I was very upset to think why did I do this if I am not able to eat anything at all? I hung in there and all my problem was that they were filling too much and when I went back in I only had them fill me 1/2 cc and I am doing much much better. I want to let you know to hang in there and things will get better.:sad:
