My band slipped and I had it fixed on 9/24. I am miserable. They said that I could be on liquids for up to a month this time. I have had my band for over two years and all of a sudden I started having problems. They told me that I might have to have it removed, but the dr ended up leaving it in. Good luck with everything.

Thanks for your help. My Dr. said that my band looked in good position and everything looked fine except for the pouch. I am just a little paranoid know because I dont want to loose my band. Thanks again.

I was recently having really bad reflux and night and went for an unfill. I was extremly tight. When I drank the liquid is showed nothing moving past my band. My Dr. took out 1.75cc and said my pouch was dialated. Will this go away or am I going to have this problem long term. I am to go back next week for a fill because I have little to no restriction.I will be two weeks since my unfill. Any advice is great I have been worrying alot about the dialated pouch. Thanks again for taking your time to help us.

I am doing great so far. My Surgery was June 8, 2005 and I have lost 80 pounds. Good luck with your surgery, I am sure everything will go great.

My Dr. is Dr. Madan. I was banded two weeks ago and I am still tired and not able to get much down. I think I am at the point where I am regreting this. I hope it passes soon.

Hi MagnoliaMiss. I also love in MS. I live in Walls, MS. Just about 5min from Memphis. I was banded on June 8. I have eated alot of Jello but make sure you liquify before you swallow.

I was banded on Wed and I have been trying to drink my protein and eat some jello and I am extremely nauseas. Is this a normal feeling. I am scared that I am not getting m protein but I feel so sick afterwards.

I am currently on my liquid diet as well. I started May 23 and my surgery date is June 8. I cheated last night as well. I went seven days and had 9 more to go I couldn't take it anymore. I feel better reading this knowing that I am not the only one. Thank you everyone for being so honest.
