  1. Take magnesium oxide. You will have to experiment to find the right dose for you. I started with 2000iu a nite.. It was too much..so slowly cut back.. I am taking 800iu a nite and have never been more regular in my life. Also worked for my daughter who has had bowel problems her whole life..
  2. 3 days post op and I am feeling pretty good. had no need for pain meds..not having too much difficulty getting the Water down. I am on Clear Liquids until tomorrow post op class. so far today I have walked 1.5 miles. time for a nap.

Hi Ladies, I am set for RNY on May 30....I only have to do 1 day of liquids before surgery..getting anxious tho..did preop doctors visit last week but have a preop class this Wed. glad to see a few people having surgery this week.. good luck to all of you and be sure to come back and keep in touch
  7. hi Janice, I am having surgery May 30..I also have lower back pain..I have had radio freq ablation. have also had both knees replaced. I am hoping losing weight will help my back because the ablation does not last forever. good luck to you.. I am thinking our age is not a factor in this surgery.. Bev
