  2. I currently live in Florida but had my sleeve done in Michigan April 28th 2014 and did have my gall bladder removed at the same time. It did not hamper my weight loss or recovery. I was off work for 1 week but I had a sit down job.

  13. I had family members try to talk me out of it because of the "bad" experiences they've heard about through other's that have gone throught it. My daughter just didn't want me to have an elective surgery. I am so glad I did this for me and now have the full support from everyone. Several people say I should be the "poster child" for this type of surgery because they are amazed at how well i am doing compared to what they've heard and read. Just remember this is for you and the only thing changing is your size, not your heart. Also I am 7 1/2 weeks post op.
