  1. I'm planning on returning to work on day 6. I hope I can handle it. I pray you are feeling better soon!
  2. I got my date❗️❗️❗️ My surgery is April 23!!!! ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? I'm so excited and nervous
  3. That is AWESOME... cant wait to get my date! Good Luck
  4. Hey everyone! As a requirement for surgery I have to make a 3 day menu. My problem is that I don't like most of the items on the list. I don't like yogurt or cottage cheese. I have never eaten refried Beans. I have to have between 75-100g of Protein everyday. I want to be prepared so that I will not have problems after the surgery. What are some of the things that you guys ate during this phase of your journey. I don't have a surgery date yet, my final pre-op visit is Monday, April 14 and I am hoping to be scheduled before the end of the month (is that realistic?). I am so glad I found this site. My husband thinks I am crazy because for the past week, I have been reading all these post.
  5. Praying that all goes well and you are able to have your surgery tomorrow.
  6. That is wonderful Wickedbeauty, I am so glad that you have your approval. I am waiting on my date as well. I have had my approval from the insurance for a while, was waiting on my stress test results (which got lost...). My appointment for pre-op is April 14 and I hope to get my surgery date then. I can not wait to make this change in my life.
  7. That is AWESOME, I am not diabetic, but my husband is and I know the struggle he has.
  8. I am in Memphis and I am looking for buddies to help me and me to help them. We all need support during this exciting time in our lives.
  9. That's good to know, I hope it's that way for me too! I have my insurance approval, so I'm hoping that I'll get my date when I go for pre- op. I'm very nervous but excited at the same time????
  10. Thank you for your reply. I'm glad you told me about how long it would take so I can adjust my schedule at work. Will I be given my surgery date at this visit? If so how far out is it given, I have vacation planned in July and just want to be sure I will have enough time to heal before going.
  11. Just joined this site and doing some research. I saw where Dr. Weaver did your surgery. Congrats on your weight loss! I am waiting on final approval from BCBS IL for approval. Dr. Weaver will be performing my sleeve. What procedure did you have? I have done all the preliminary requirements. Everything was submitted on 3/28. Anxiously waiting for it to be finalized. Dr. Weaver is my surgeon too! I'm nervous and excited. My pre-op appointment is 4/14 and I was wondering what to expect.
