  1. I have UHC choice plus-- just knocking out appointments so I can get surgery scheduled. My surgeons office said choice was better, then you didn't need the 6 month wait, as long a criteria is met . Anyone else have UHC choice?
  2. I bought cups and lids from a fast food place that puts ranch dressing in them- I bought like a sleeve of them 250 for 5 bucks. I did by them to make pudding shots with- but will turn them into healthier cups!!
  3. You are glowing and look beautiful!! Great job- it's hard for the mind to be in line with the progress!! Keep it up!!
  4. There is a splendid brown sugar- I've put on butternut squash with a squirt of " I can't believe it's not butter".- baking it is really tasty- I think ahead of my surgery I will cook one of those - then puree it and pour into ice tray- freeze and then have little servings ready- Are you tired if the liquids or have you mixed it around a bit with different broths?
  5. Great job!!! I was wondering how much weight to work at getting off before surgery and still be able to have surgery!! Do you have in mind what puree foods you'll try??
  6. I too am just starting this journey - officially- I've been absorbing and reading about it for about 18 months. Was going to pay cash, so had been saving, but now I found out my plan covers it. I am 48. Want so bad to have something work- I can follow and am compliant when I am on a program- I just lose really slow and gain fast- and more..
  7. Great idea!! I am 5"2 and 232. I haven't had surgery yet, I do have insurance coverage, but the part in my coverage is that I have to be employed 1 year with them then 6 months of the added requirements-I can start process now. I attended the information night last week with the surgeon I want. Here is my question- I can't get in with Doc until first of May- should I get into office and meet with either their psychologist or dietician- If I met with one of them will that count as appt for April- They way my coverage is - I can't have surgery until Sept. I just don't want to wait another month until October, because Doc would be gone... I wish I would of known cause I could of started all this, and then once my July date comes up I could of been ready for surgery then. I guess it's part of my VSG story.

  9. Has anyone checked out human hair wigs?? I never had thick hair to begin with. I've been looking at wigsbuy.com - Tons of options and finally I might even be able to have a little longer & thicker hair!!
  10. I will be sleeved end if August, first of September!!I really like Dr Forse!! I thought I could have it done in July, but my coverage states a certain amount if time I have to be with my employer. I've been working on this, reading up, watching peoples success stories for over a year.
