Wondering if there are any surgeries for May?

Well 7 weeks out feeling wonderful!! I have no issues at all. My first fill was yesterday. Easy it was. Down 38 pounds!!

So my new life as a banded women will begin in 2 days. What a 2 weeks this has been. I am down 19 pounds. Thought it was17 pounds I bought a new scale and it shows 19 pounds. I really hope in the next 2 days I can lose 1 more pound to make it 20 pounds. I'm not really nervous at this moment but come Friday it will be different.

Feeling not bad really. Not a lot of pain. Everything went smooth 3:1/2 hours later I was able to leave. I'm able to drink water without any problem. I hope tomorrow is a good too. Just trying to sleep for the rest of the day. Also I get up and walk I have had no gas pains yet.

So I am here waiting with my husband. So many emotions mostly excited!! 2hrs left and I will be banded. Thanks for your support!!

I was also young when they told me I had pcos. I was also told I would probably never have kids. I have 3 but prior to getting pregnant with my first I lost 60 pounds on my own. I hope you keep on fighting!!

I am due for surgery in 2 days!! In Mississauga ontario. I really am surprised how hard the pre op has been. I have to admit I did eat a bananna. It was so good. But besides that I have plugged on. Lots of water, crystal light. I have been having only 2 protein shakes and 250 cal worth of veggies. I haven't been able to drink 3 shakes. My hardest time is sitting around watching tv at night. That is when I want to eat, eat, eat. On the bright side so far I have lost 17 pounds.

On day 8 of pre-op. I had carpel tunnel surgery 4 days ago. The pain from that has taking away most thoughts of hunger. This Friday is my day !! Whoot Whoot

Good luck!! I am on day 5 of pre-op. Today has been the hardest day so far. Come on May 16th.

good for you Rose2014... i am on day 4 of my pre-op now. It hasent been too bad so far. my surgery is may 16 it will be here before I know it!!

i paid 16000 dollars in ontario canada for my sugery. I also had to pay for my blood work and protein shakes. I am covered for fills up to 5 years as well. my surgery date is may 16 2014.

I gave up Pepsi 2 weeks before I started my pre-0p I was worried about that as well. But I really didn't notice much withdraw. So I guess lucky me. But I still have the dull headache too. I have not been able to get the 3 rd protein shake in me yet. I will try today. Love hearing about everyone else

Day 2, feeling good. Not feeling hungry but I do have a bit of a headache. The shakes work at keeping me feeling full. Wondering how I will feel at work tomorrow? How is everyone else today?

Bandista. Thanks for the comment. I love walking as well. I am lucky that where I work we have an amazing outdoor track. I pop out on break and do some laps it's great for my mind as well. I know it's going to be hard but I'm ready:)

I'm not sure. I was just told to buy the shakes and I can have veggies for supper. I did get some recipes so before I get to discouraged I will try some of them. Congrats ladies on great weight loss so far on your pre-op

It's called smart shape weight loss protein shake.

I just tried one of my protein shakes I ordered from my dr. It is friggin discussting. Omg. Now I am a little worried.

How did you find Dr Cobourn?? He is doing my surgery may 16th. hope you start feeling better.
