  1. 194.6, moving slowly, but still moving.....
  2. Slow losses here too, but I'm Okay with that and I know that pumping up my physical activity would improve my results. My. body feels so much better getting 80+ lbs off. I'm still 50 lbs from my ultimate goal. My next mini-goal is 100 lbs loss, I'll be there by the end of January at the latest. I remember Holiday seasons past where I would dread what the scales would do. So far my biggest worry is what to wear.... Lots of xxx clothes have been donated.....
  3. SW 196 GW 180 Birthday is 12/22 so this challenge includes 3 holidays and my birthday. That's why they call it a challenge... Thank you Susan!!!
  4. Thank you so much for tracking us. I'm in!!!
  5. 196.6 I'm ready for November!!!!
  6. 197.0 I'd call it a stall, but I know better. Halloween candy is getting the better of me!!!
  7. 196.6 Thanks again for tracking us!!!!!
  8. 199 today. Back on track but slowly....
  9. 201. Vacation caught up with me....
  10. 199.8, cruise complete, and I made it to Onederland!!!!!
  11. 201.8........ Onederland, here I come!!!!!
  12. 206 is my starting weight. 190 is my goal, but that's gonna be hard... Gonna have to pick up my activity!!!
  13. 206.0..... I'm getting really good at missing my challenge goals by one.. That's OK, cause I'm focused and moving in the right direction!!!! Onederland, here I come...
  14. 208.2 this morning. 3.2 to goal, if I don't make it I'll be so darn close!!!
  15. I still have my restriction. I really feel it when I eat dense foods. I played tennis twice this week and am looking at 3 lbs weight loss this week after a stall. My sleeve has worked for me as expected, but it's not a magic pill, it is a great tool. If you don't use this tool correctly it will not work and could be dangerous..... 70 lbs down since my high in January.
  16. Count me in. I'll make goal in one of these!!!! Thanks again for doing this!!!!
  17. Good articles Hawk, especially the last one. It mentions about a 5% increase over time. I'd say that's still "not like it used to be". I like the books suggested in one of the links. I didn't know there was a Bariatrics for Dummies. Some of those are really well written.
  18. 210.6 this morning....... Baby steps. Next week will rock!!!!!
  19. 211.0 today. Slow but back to steady...
  20. 213.0 today, down .4 on the week. I know we only keep the whole numbers, but I need to know I'm down that fraction. Better week, this week!!!!
  21. It's fun to read the variety of responses, and this gives you a taste of the variety of the group's experience. I was in the hospital 2 nights and took advantage of the pain meds the hospital offered. Once home, I took Baby Tylenol on occasion, but no narcotics. My sister spent one night at my house, but I was able to get around and didn't need her at that point, but truly enjoyed her company. I started at 270 with no complications so I had it easy. Your starting point and how active you are in advance of your surgery will also determine how well you can get around just after surgery. Walking a dog will be great for you, but expect to get tired quickly. I had about a week of nap attacks. I'd be fine then out of nowhere, I'd need to lay down to nap. It's a wild ride, welcome to the club!!!!
  22. Mocha, keep getting your fluids!!! Hope you feel better soon. Sick is not the way we want to lose weight...
  23. 213.4, still moving!!!!
