Hello fellow Minnosotans! I just got approved for my surgery and I also am having Dr. Weitherille (sp?) perform my surgery. I am meeting with him on Thursday!! There is also a forum on Yahoo for Park Nicollet patients called PNCBandsters that I am on sometimes. I like this site though because there are a ton of people on here. What is the pre 10 day diet like? I have heard so many things on here that doctors require. Thanks! -Meg

HI! I just got approved to start all my appts.!! I am having my surgery at Methodist (not sure when the date will be) and I had my first visit with the nurse yesterday and my psych evaluation in October! I am a little nervous about the psych eval because I have a history of depression (not at this moment) and I saw that someone got denied because she was depressed.

Thanks!! I feel that at least theres a reason for it not just to see if I can handle the all liquid diet. Good luck to everyone! Hopefully my insurance will approve me!!

Hello! My name is Megan and I just sent in all my information to the insurance company to see if I qualify (I better otherwise I dont know who would)! I have been lurking on the boards to get more information and I keep seeing liquid diets before surgery. Why do you have to be on a liquid diet before you have the surgery? I was hoping I could have the LAST supper :-) Ha HA:hungry:
