  1. suzanneg: I was so glad to see your post. I have been considering doing weight watchers online lately. I was banded in June of 07. I had lost down to 164, but have gained back about 6-8 pounds. I feel like I am at a good restriction level, so I don't need a fill. I just feel like I need to get a little better structure to what I eat. I need some rules to stick to and am hoping that weight watchers will help me find the structure that I need. I would love love love to lose what I gained and then lose the next 30 pounds that I need to lose. I look forward to seeing how you do.
  2. Too funny. I guess mine haven't said bye bye completely, just seem to be saying hello to my belly button these days. Can't wait to get a lift.
  3. Hi. I had such good intentions when I posted my goal. I guess my check-in is that I haven't lost anything. I got fill 2 days ago, so I am hoping that will kick things up a bit.
  4. 15.2 pounds??? Really????? I need a fill like that!
  5. I am in. I am just a little worried that I won't be able to do it. I have been at a plateau for 6 months now. Name........Challenge start wgt.......current wgt.....chall. goal.....To go. 6. Also, I think that the cyclic weight thing is common (atleast I think for us women). I know I only lose the week of and after my period. I just try to make sure that I maintain during the other weeks.
  7. Hello fellow bandsters. I haven't ever posted much, but I haven't even been reading much lately. I am hoping to post and connect with you guys to get and give support. Since the end of April I have been in a funk. I haven't been exercising and have just been eating crap. But effective this week I am turning back around. I have gained almost 10 pounds during this time and have realized I have got to get back on track. I do not want to gain all of my weight back after having worked so hard to lose what I have. Plus I don't want to be a failure at this. So Monday I had an appt for a fill. I was shocked when the PA was not ugly with me. I totally expected him to, but instead he just said that everybody has rebounds and this is the first one that I have had in a year. He gave me a small fill and told me I should talk with the nutritionist in their office to see how to best tackle my "diet". So now I am just trying to stay on track. It is so much harder now than it was in the beginning.
  8. I had my surgery on a Wed and went back to work on Monday.
  9. I was at Disney last week with work. Luckily most of our food was provided and was very healthy, but for lunch we were on our own. I actually brought my own. The parks are ok with that and you save a TON of money. I used the money they gave us for lunch to buy souveniers.
  10. I actually live in Lugoff, but work in Columbia. I haven't done the support groups. I probably should, but I stay crazy busy most of the time. Dr. Antonetti has done 2 of my fills and James the assistant has done the other.
  11. I take the Centrum chewables, but for some reason I am feeling tired all of the time. In January when I went for my annual exam all of my vitamin levels were fine, so I decided that instead of getting the B-12 injections just yet I will see what my dr says. I have made an appointment with him for Thursday.
  12. bcrazy7 - That is so weird that you ask this. I have only posted a few times and was coming online to ask this same question. Also, I wanted to see is anybody else having energy issues. I have been so yuck feeling for about 3 weeks now and can't seem to get past it. A fellow banded friend told me her old "diet doctor" would sell her B12 shots. She said she asked yesterday if they would sell them eventhough she isn't a diet patient anymore and they said yes. Also, she asked if they would sell them to me since I have never been a patient and they said yes since I am a band patient.
  13. Welcome to the board tskelli. As you can tell there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on it. Which is too bad because I think there are a lot of banded SC folks out there. I see you used Dr. Antonetti. I am a patient of his also and have been very pleased. Good luck with your journey.
  14. I switched to Unjury about 3 weeks ago. I bought the Chocolate and mix with light vanilla soy milk. I absolutely love it. It isn't that great mixed with water, but with the soy milk it tastes like chocolate milk.
  15. Here are my 6 month pics. I should have stuck with taking the picture in the kitchen as usual. In this picture I look as big as our Christmas tree.
