  2. Hello. I was sleeved on 3/18. The first 3-4 days home, I would take about 4 hours to drink 8 ounces. Now I can drink Water fairly quickly, but I still make a Protein shake and it takes me a few hours to drink it, rotating with sips of water in between. Each day will be better. For now, get your rest in. By day 8 I could do the water and protein requirements...but not even close on days 3-6!
  3. I was sleeved in GR by Dr. Schram on March 18th. I really like him and his PA Erin too. THe hopsital staff was great too! Do any of you go to the support group? I was thinking of checking it out this coming Monday.
  4. I am loving pureed heartier Soups - Progresso Light chicken Pot Pie soup, split pea, etc. I also pureed a can of higher quality turkey chili. I boiled 2 eggs and pureed with a little greek yogurt, mustard, and avocado. It's all so yummy! Denser foods are not feeling too good for me yet. I tried a baked ricotta from theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com and it was a little much, but good. I'll try it again tomorrow.
  5. Oh! I am so right here with you! I was sleeved on the 18th and did well for a couple nights, then I would sleep for about 4 hours and then not be able to go back to sleep. Now, for the last two nights I cannot get to sleep and I stay up all night. Last night I slept about 2 hours. It's terrible. My post-op is Friday so I am going to ask about what to do. Melatonin has been suggested to me. I hope we both get sleep soon!
  6. According to my plan it would be.

  11. The pain is still there, but not too bad. I opted for a second night int he hospital and was really glad I did. I have been off pain meds for about 3 days. My program is Clear liquids and Protein shakes for 2 weeks, then pureed. I am so tired of the Protein Shakes. No problems with heartburn. Some gas pain still in the shoulders and down the tummy, but not awful. I got 4 meds for nausea/spasms/cramping and have only taken one once.
  12. It feels weird even to tpe that I am already sleeved and almost a week post-op. Doing well on Water and Protein and my post-op in this Friday where I will hopefully get to move to pureed foods. How is everyone else doing? Any others sleeved within the last week or two?
