  1. I have been on a cpap since 2010. Honestly I can't sleep without it if you can relax it will be the best sleep you have ever HD. Also I am told by a friend that just had the surgery the hunger dimeishes after surgery.
  2. So are they giving you a chance to remain in counseling and do the procedure.
  3. I do have one shake per day those get me through. I really hope I don't have an issue with them after the surgery.
  4. I am nervous about the liquid diet myself. Surgery date April 28 and have to be on liquids 14 days leading up to surgery. I have been pushing back from heavy foods for about a week in preparation. More plain yogurts, cottage cheese, sf jello, salads no meat. Im Good with that but its still food only liquids for 2 weeks is going to be a real challenge!
  5. My surgery date is also April 28th. Im getting things together see what I like although I hear my taste will completely change. Im normally one that can tolerate things I don't like so we will see. Good luck.
  6. I would bring it up at my next doctors visit just the same if I were you. Could be nothing but can't hurt to ask about it.
  7. I am new here as well I have one more preop requirement band it goes for approval. I am starting to rethink things but believe that this is the best thing for me to do. After years of struggling with my weight. That being stated stay in prayer and God will see you through. My prayers are for a successful surgery and for a speedy recovery. Keep your eye on the BIG PICTURE! A healthy you!
  8. I had my eval a couple of weeks ago, took the 568 question evaluation and about 30 minutes with e actual doctor. No Problem. Doctor called me back to review his findings. I was given the go ahead. Faxed to the surgeon on Thursday so now I am waiting for my EGD and it can be submitted to the insurance company. For them the review takes about 7 days and hopefully approval is given. Praying for an April date. Good Luck to everyone!
