  6. Good for you! So cool to hear about the support from your pool mates too!
  7. I know what you are saying: I was becoming a hermit as well before my surgery. I knew I needed to make a change for me to be healthy physically and emotionally. I kept me focus on my "list" of requirements I needed to do to allow me to do surgery. I am only 1 month post surgery but I am feeling more like my old self and I actually see and feel this working! You are so close! Some anxiety is natural because it is a big change but it is SO worth it! Good luck!!
  8. So I have to ask: Are you getting rid of those clothes? I am starting to drop sizes but am so conditioned that I will regain that I keep the old clothes just in case. I know (and pray) that this will permanently work for me but a lifetime of ups and downs has left its mark.
  9. Thanks for all the info! I knew I was due for a stall but it is good to read that it is temporary and the losses will pick up again.
  10. Great job! Looks like you are making great progress!
  11. I loved having my oatmeal every day! It lowers cholesterol and is a great source of Fiber. But my Dr made a big deal out of low carb after surgery so I don't know if it is something I will do every day. So I guess it is a trade off.
  12. Welcome to the rest of your life! It is going to be great!!!
  13. I know everyone will say the same thing but walking does help a lot. The bloating has to just work its way out of your body. Part of it is just fluids from the IV they had/have you on too. Hope you feel better soon! And congrats on taking this huge step for yourself!!
  14. Just an amazing transformation! Thank you for sharing!
  15. LOL! Thanks for the REAL NSVs! What a great overall turn around between your attitude, weight and health measures! Very inspirational!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
  16. Whenever I experienced dizzines it was from dehydration. If you are on your feet a lot it could be from activity level vs calorie intake or too little fluids. If it happens again you might want to call your doctor's office and let them know. Good luck!
  17. Lylabelle I sent you a FB friend request too!

  21. Can you confirm when it was actually submitted? If it was today you may want to see if you can move it back towards the end of the week. And don't let someone else's issue derail you from this opportunity! Stay committed because it is soooo worth it!
