  1. She loved to excercise now
  2. I OWN THIS DECISION! I don't say my doc this my insurance that. I made this decision. It was the right one for me. I don't look that big? You're right I look awesome when not stepping on the scale. Thanks to Lane Bryant and Calvin Klein and jones Ny for making great clothes that help me look not that big But guess what? I am and I am suffering for it I own this decision It's the right one for me I made this decision I appreciate your continued support Negative opinions are not required. Keep them to yourself or get out of my life. One person has left and she lost 80 pounds still at 310. Misery loves company I posted this on my facebook the night of my sleeve when I woke up
  3. You don't need "friends" like this Misery loves company
  4. And that derailment was unacceptable
  5. File a copy of your benefit description and copy of bills with the state insurance commissioner You can look up your state insurance department of it doesn't have one banking department Load of crap
  6. You need to call your insurance asap. Because that's the biggest loaded of crap I've ever heard. I've worked in insurance 20 years the oop is the oop and unless your benefit has many levels of deductible or oop, elective vs non is irrelevant.
  7. Daronb I would never have paid surgeon. Hospital bills usually get their first.
  8. I pee up to 8 times if I manage a full 64 ounces If I don't maybe 4 times I think you should be looking for signs such as dark and smelly pee - means not enough Water. Mine was dark before surgery because I never drank enough. Now it's like a lite lemonade and no smell. Talk to doc
  9. Told everyone They brothers Friends Sisters Friends of friends of friends Strangers Best friends Coworkers Friends of coworkers Posted it on facebook ! As public! You know what I learned? Real friends are supportive. The non supportive ones or negative nellys were always against you and wanted you fat Misery loves company They're no longer in my life and I have to say I am so much happier for it!! Sometimes you lose relationships on this journey and I have. Kept the best ones and the ones that matter the rest left and took a lot of drama inducing bs with them
  10. Keep running around the block
  11. Because its first come first applied. You can meet your deductible doing all the pre op care and surgeon never gets it. My $4500 was met by my EGD and other preop care. My kids met $1500 in out of pocket - ER events- The next 3000 of $4500 oop max more was met by hospital where sleeve was done and then I am done. Surgeon, anesthesia and post op all covered 100% Now I just have to wait for the bills and work out payment arrangements
  12. I think you're overthinking it. Don't stress it just go to the surgeon let the. Worry about it. Get the pcp or OB to write a letter and indicate your weights at various time periods.
  13. Sugar free Hershey's chocolates
  14. Very well Here is the policy https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/public/content/pdf/coveragePolicies/medical/mm_0051_coveragepositioncriteria_bariatric_surgery.pdf
  15. Take some Phillips milk of magnesia and a stool softener
  16. Yay you. Mine was last winter Ditched my lands end parka coat in 1x. Still selling my other brand new coat on eBay. Just bought a fall jacket few weeks ago from j crew in a xl and it's too big But if I wear a sweater under it's ok
  17. Ok let's all take a step back First you are a 33 bmi or so. Your insurance won't pay for it Second it seems like you have a very serious heart condition I don't think your doctor is misinformed or anti wls as others have said - he is fully cognizant of your health condition. One where you already died in the table during anesthesia This is pretty risky surgery and I think he is trying to guide you as a doctor should to another method of weight loss. As the person before me stated - lose weight by following the bariatric principles even if it's 3 pounds a month it's 3 pounds more than the last Your first priority is your health so you can care for your grand babies, get a 2nd opinion. Maybe your PCP someone who is totally familiar with all your care. I wish you the best of luck Try reading this for ideas on the diet - what to eat what not to etc http://www.peachtreebariatrics.com/docs/Gastric-Sleeve-Patient-Manual.pdf
  18. And she raced after it
  19. I tagged her so she could read this as she also has been having issues
  20. Lost 60 pounds like that!!!!!
  21. Print this out and read it cover to cover http://www.peachtreebariatrics.com/docs/Gastric-Sleeve-Patient-Manual.pdf
  22. Your insurance will process the claims as they come in and apply deductible. Don't pay it up front. It depends on who gets to UMR first
