  1. I am in the same position as you, banded 18th Nov 08, not losing, it's driving me mad!! so frustrating...... Your post has helped me loads, Thank you, It's good to know I'm not going mad, dieting and not losing has to be the worst!! Whats your next action??
  2. Thanks for your prompt reply, I have only really done light exercise, and as for meals, three light small meals a day, ie, milky hot ceral, or 2 boiled eggs yolks only, soup for lunch, and usually mash potato with chicken and veggies for dinner, (only small amount, on a tea plate), What do you think?
  3. Hi All, I am looking for others who had a very slow start to losing weight after the op, I was banded on 18th Nov 2008, have had 2 fills, and still no weight loss, feeling very dispondent. any advice?? Desperate............
  4. Hi Terry. Thank you so much for your reply, It is encourageing. Thank you. I am obese but don't eat all day everyday, so I just keep asking myself 'do I really need it' and 'why can't I do it without the band?' I am just going around in circles. I am pleased to hear you were able to keep it secret, I just feel like a complete failure, and I feel so embarrassed to think I am even considering this as an option. I have only scanned this site, maybe I need to be dedicated to it! Thanks again Best Regards 'K'
  5. Hi, I am new to 'forums' but wanted to 'meet' other like minded people. 'worried' got my attention as it how I feel, I have been approved for banding and I am currently on a pre op diet, with surgery planned for 11th sept, and although I should be delighted, I am really worried. Will I come out of the surgery? Should I have one last chance of losing the weight by myself? I feel that I have falied to need surgery? Apart from my husband and daughter I don't want anyone to know I have had surgery, can I keep it a secret? should I go a head with it? All advise will be much appreicated. Thank You 'K'
