  1. I haven't really had one day without some kind of throwing up. I have an aversion to Protein which is seeming like everything but cottage cheese at this point. Only thing I seem to keep down along with peaches. I just want to eat something else without spitting up like a baby. I can't see to keep medicine or Vitamins down on a regular basis. I'm sure this is all temporary but I'm ready for a change. I also never feel full so if not measured too much will also make me throw up. My new name throwsupalotupus! Lol! I just closed on a house and I'm leaving for ohio tomorrow. So with moving and a job promotion I think there just isn't enough time to work on my new lifestyle as well. Everything they told me not to do in the first year after surgery but how do you say no to bettering your life? :/ Good note though I put on a size 14 today for the first time in ten years....not comfy though. Lol. I got the keys to my first house and for the first time since surgery I can get up from a sitting or laying down position without becoming lightheaded or feeling like I'm going to pass out. I really hate complaining but with the flu this week I think I just flatlined for a second on my positiveness. I think we will all hit a point where we wtf did I do to myself but I have to remind myself that all the downs that I'm describing are only temporary. so for today I am down but tomorrow is a new day! Hugs everyone! We must keep chugging away!

  11. 1. 5'10" 290 2. 271 3. I don't remember. Lol. I've lost 17 since surgery 4. 36 5. I moved on to liquids yesterday and kept half of them down and mAde progress on dehydration. 6. I tore or pulled a muscle and had to buy a back brace to put pressure on my abdomen to dull the pain 7. I drink According to a timer that goes off every five minutes. Hey it seems to be working.
  12. Okay! Sigh I threw every meal I ate yesterday up and passed out as well. Urine is clear so getting enough fluids and getting about 40 G Protein in and 400-500 calories. I can eat about a cup and never feel full. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Positive side. I did try Vitamins today and I'm holding those and Breakfast down. Each day is a new challenge but I'm conquering them in stride. Baby steps. Just keep swimming.
  13. I had gas pain until I started taking gasx strips on a regular basis. Probably not a good idea but I take them every couple hours even when I'm not gassy. I was feeling super bloated until I got my pottying on track with murilax.
  14. I had a bladder issue too and I totally forgot to even think about it. It's gone! That's like the best NSV ever!
  15. Welcome Heidi. You have come to the right place for sharing or should I say over sharing. Lol. I think anything goes in here since we are all in it together and here to support. New thing for me. Let Greek yogurt get room temperature. Add 3oz Water so it's thinner than a milkshake and eat. 5 times a day. 60 Protein and extra 15 oz Fluid. I'm going to get bored soon. I just need the food dreams to stop. Lol Just keep swimming swimming swimming.
  16. hi sha. I say expect to be miserable your first couple days. I'm a week out now and yesterday was great. Everyday I feel a little better. Good luck to you sweety!
  17. One week out and today has started off pretty great. It's been a loooooong week full of pains and new life learning a but all worth it. Can't wAit for the fatigue to go away. Hugs!
  18. 1.5 10" highest 305 4 years ago This time around in program 290? 2. DOS 271 3. 1weekPO 259 -12 4. Reasonable 190 ideal 170 5. Walking in spite of pain and not one regret. Keeping positive until number 6 came along.... 6. Ugh it's all been a struggle. Pain. Fatigue. Gas. Poop. Fluids. Proteins. Vitamins. I promise to only have one next week. I'm still adjusting. Large learning curve. Today's pretty great so far still very happy I did this because I/we are worth it! Hugs!
  19. I think both ways are normal. I started with the other and ended with that yesterday.
  20. I think staying connected with others is key to this being successful. We are going to hit bumps and no one wants to feel alone. The stigma that can come from wls still can be trying and I for one need like minded positive people in my life. I'm up for any topic too. If I don't say it or ask it how am I to know if someone's riding the porcelain hell train with me. Buahaha! This is my go to lifesaver and since we are all discovering our bodies at the same time what better people to share everything with. I have decided that my crappy start today is because I think everything is settling internally to where the space of my stomach used to be. I'm feeling a lot better the more time goes by. Biggest complaint at this point is energy. I do my treadmill but time I'm on it is getting shorter and right after lights out. I have a question though. So now that passing gas is a relief is this a forever thing or just an body adjusting thing? :/ I have so many people trying to come see me and I'm embarrassed but if they know me they will get over it as fast as I do. Lol Thank you girls for sharing too!
  21. Today's not a good day for eating. It all just sits in my chest like a lump. Which is weird because yesterday was good. I'm going back to clears for a couple days. I walk and do a little around my house. 15 minutes max of constant moving and it's nap time. I took four naps yesterday. At least an hour each. My brain wants to do more but my body just gets so tired. Dr told me at my appt that being this tired is normal and it can take about 15 days for my body to start burning fat (using fatty acids for fuel? Can't remember word for word because I was so exhausted from the walk in parking lot) but when that happens to expect a high. Come on high. Lol. I need it.
  22. I'm only doing protein at meals. Unflavored isopure in chicken soup broth, watered down yogurt, or today's add watered down cream of wheat. I get full fast so I try to mix it in a small amount of those to try to get it all in. I can't do protein shakes at this point too sweet. I also wait ten to twenty minutes and get on treadmill to walk for ten otherwise it sits like a lump in there for what feels like hours. Good luck sweets. Now that I'm on protein though I full longer and getting less fluids. Sigh. It's baby steps.
  23. ......just a little funny side note.TMI possibly? Never knew how much I would share with strangers going through this too! Never been so excited to poop!!! that is all.
  24. Now on the other side. Take the gasx strips right away to get the gas moving. That the first two days were going to hurt way worse than I thought but by day four I was going to be fine and never have one regret. That a little fuzzy cheap throw was nicer than a big pillow to hold over my big incision when coughing or if your lucky like me vomiting. That unflavored protein powder and chicken broth(not from can since I can taste the metal) along with Popsicles were going to be my staple......last but not least that everyone's perfume including mine smells terrible after surgery and the take a Whiff before putting some on good luck to everyone but we all know in the end it's not luck that gets us to our goal is strength. Hugs!
  25. Also if you can have someone make you some light flavored Popsicles. Red and grape flavors were too strong but orange Popsicles feel nice. I'm making g2 by Gatorade ones now. Hoping it ups my liquid intake
