  2. Thank you. That actually makes me feel better. Taking zofran but can't seem to get much in. Thanks again!!
  3. 2 weeks out and I started getting nauseous after eating. Anyone else? Will it go away? Sticking to liquids and puréed foods. Have a cold. Could it be mucus in the stomach?
  4. M 2 weeks out from the surgery. Should I be concerned that I have a fever with vomitting?
  5. I'm almost 2 weeks out. Struggling with appetite. Not hunger. My eyes are bigger than my stomach sometimes. Craving. That's my hurdle. But your posts help. I haven't lost in a week and it has me worried since everyone seems to lose so much in the beginning. But I'm doing it and making those lifelong changes that are so necessary. Thanks for giving it straight!
  6. Me too. I take b12 with my multivitamin and calcium. Could be part of the healing process. AfterLl. We all just had surgery! Lol
  7. Anyone else experiencing fatigue and low energy? I'm on week 2 and I can't seem to find much energy. Hope this passes soon. Anyone else have this? Does it go away?
  8. And thank you everyone for the warm thoughts and support
  9. The meds seem to help a little. Lots of acid and weird hunger feeling constantly. But warm liquids do help. Went to a restaurant tonight and had hot tea, some broth, and a little mashed potato. Ate slow and was shocked how little I ate. Gives me hope.
  10. I was hospitalized for dehydration on day 5 cause spasms make taking anything in painful. On top of that I'm so hungry and all I want is a hamburger or even a salad. But too soon for real food. And when I do get something like liquid or strained soup down the pain is unbearable. Doc prescribed procardia to block calcium channels that could affect the spasms and Prevacid but nothing helps. Anyone have any experience with this? Day 7 now and low on energy and motivation. Help?!
  11. Thanks. I'll try that. Doc said it could last a month and prescribed something but it's not working. Still, no regrets. Best decision I've ever made!
  12. Yeah. Still bloated from the surgery. Hopefully will go away soon. Thanks!
  13. It's a painful stabbing pain behind my sternum and between my shoulder blades. Makes swallowing anything difficult and painful. Only 5 days after surgry and I hope it ends soon. Overall though... Best decision I ever made
  14. Has anyone had esophageal spasms. Doc prescribed meds for it but doesn't help. Drinking just aggravates it. Hard yo stay hydrated. No food yet. Too painful. Anyone have any experience with this?
