Due to family illnesses and a cross country move, I didn't get my sleeve until almost five years from when I went to my first meeting, so I have had plenty of time to do my homework.
I have done all the diets , some several times, usually following success with gaining it all back and more.
My husband is 14 years older than I am. I have always walked faster than him (and most other people). He had a knee replacement last year and I discovered it was now me chasing to keep up with him. That was never the case before he started having knee problems.
I have a variety of other health issues, all of which would be better to some extent if I could get back to a reasonable weight.
I'm not expecting any magic with this process (although I certainly wouldn't mind a little) and mourn the loss of my good friends pizza and Sauvignon Blanc, but it was good while it lasted, it's time to move on.
