  1. I’m not looking forward to the liquid diet at all – too bad they couldn’t give up appetite suppressants. Don't want to be grumpy to my family before a major surgery....
  2. I start the liquid diet on Friday the 4th. YES!!!! I am so freaking out. I am SO crazy nervous
  3. I have made a journal and am doing a video log from me to me as well. I was to see the changes make.
  4. I was told to only do one week of the liquid diet.
  5. My surgery is April 11th.... I was so afraid to speak to my PCP that I didn't go see her until last Friday, March 21st.... I've seen her for five years so I feel I know how she would react...no! To my surprise she was somewhat supportive. She did not however like the idea of me going to Mexico for surgery....even suggested I gain more weight for insurance to pay so I could stay in the US for the surgery. Either way she did agree to see me after surgery for a follow-up, so that was productive. She did make it extremely clear that she would not be able to preform any "repair" surgery - I did let her know that I'm pretty clear on the difference of a PCP and a surgeon.
  6. Thank you for sharing your story. We all deserve the best medical care out there - period. Medical professionals should never do anything other than their extreme best for patients or they simply should not be in the medical field. I am so very sorry for your horrific situation...I wish you never had went through this... Dr Kelly is no longer affiliated with MBC. I have done a lot of research for over a year and am going through Mexico Bariatric Center - going to Mi Doctor Hospital - having surgery with the team of Dr Cabrera and Dr Valenzuela. I have to put my faith in the research I have done and pray this will turn out the way it has for over 3000 other individuals.... I can only believe and pray...God will be there for me, for us all. Again, thank you for sharing - God bless.
