  1. Went well! Im at home nursing. I think my gallbladder gave me an extra punch. But I'm doing alright. Lil pain but getting better every day. You'll do great!
  2. Aug 12th surgery...I'm home, I was released yesterday. I need to dial in my pain meds better but all is ok. My gallbladder was apparently shot. My surgeon said I had had a gallbladder attack prior to surgery...so of course I've been trying to pin point that. I think most of my pain is from that removal. Not trying to weigh myself...just want to get around better.
  3. Thank you for your support! I'll try and update afterwards tomorrow.
  4. I wonder if I can get the abdominal block...don't want to hurt.
  5. Very hard! Just completed day 7 of 8 cause I apparently can't count. Surgery is the 12th and man this has been a test. But I did better than I thought I would...so hungry though. At this point I just want something different.
  6. I'm more nervous about the pain of removing my gallbladder moreso than RNY...can anyone ease my anxiety who has been through both at the same time?
  7. Rooster, which surgery did you end up having?
  8. I agree with winning by losing on those exact days. I weighed myself the morning of day 5 (this morning) and I've lost 10 pounds. Insane at 4 days in and enough to keep me motivated til my surgery Aug 12!
  9. Going to have to look for these...my liquid diet is too boring.
  10. I think my headache is from weening off caffeine...I dont want that caffeine headache during recovery! Luckily its not crazy bad. You CAN do it! I love the site but sometimes it gets my anxiety going!
  11. Can you eat gummies or the regular old school flinstones?
  12. I hear you...today was day one of all liquid diet for me and its tough. Surgery is Aug 12th...one more week. My diets barely last a week...I must do this. Would be nice if this headache went away though!
  13. Aug 12 here...no revision but adding on hiatal hernia & removing gallbladder. Its getting close!
  14. Sounds like you're doing well!
  15. Same thing happened with my ins. They said they were missing a paper...it took two weeks after that "appeal" (I was irritated but just sat tight).
  16. Ok I remember now...now I'm curious as all get out!
  17. Why were you on the fence for which surgery again rooster (thats become your name now;)? I cant jump around site on phone like i can on pc.
  18. Great info! Im with Rooster, I research for a living so this is awesome!
  19. Oh wow...I'm so sorry...that can't be fun!
  20. You know the strange part is I never even realized I had reflux so badly. I mean there have been a few nasty belches (sorry for detail) but other than that...had no symptoms. I should've listened to my body more maybe? I don't know.
  21. Oh my! I am so sorry for your experience. What a trooper you are! I'll be following & keeping you in my prayers for a new beginning! , I'm 42 & I have some Barretts if you're familiar...only I'm going straight to bypass...no trying the sleeve here (I dont think my doc would do it anyway because of it). Still very nervous!
  22. Why do I get sooo much more paranoid about having surgery when in the beginner pre & post surgery section?!
  23. Good emotional or a big bag of everything?
