  1. I am a month out and am having sort of the same problem too. I find depending on the food I can eat from 1/4 cup to 1 cup. So far I am down 13 lbs and have not regained anything at all. The only thing that made me nauseous was veggie chicken nuggets. other smells make me nauseous so I just haven't tried those foods yet. I was scared too that I am eating too much but I'm getting in around 800-1000 calories per day and hitting my protein and water goals each day and the surgeon said that's good.
  2. I like the syntrax nectar brand of protein. They have fruit flavors that are not milky and sometimes i will add some crystal light to make it more flavorful. Not gritty at all. I also like their vanilla protein, i mix it three ways to switch it up. I like to add orange crystal light to it so it's like a creamsicle, i also like to use the vanilla with sugar free pumpkin spice syrup and instant decaf coffee, and the last way is just the syrup and almond milk with the protein, it kinda tastes like soy eggnog that way. Syntrax is sugar free, carb free and fat free. 23 g of protein per scoop
  3. Where I live it's mandatory. I have 4 weeks to go!
  4. I had tried some sample packets of syntrax vanilla so i bought the big tub afterwards and now that I'm drinking it everyday it gives me a headache. now I'm stuck with 3 lbs of it

  12. I think you get your surgery date when you are close to finishing the class or right after you have finished it. I'll be going to the seminar at my surgeon's office next month I think cause I missed the one for this month. I can't wait I'm super excited to keep the ball rolling. With Kaiser you have 1 year after you finish your class to schedule your surgery date.
