That's awesome memegirl.. I too was 4/3. But I had a helluva time when I got home the day after.. I was so sick until Sunday I couldn't keep anything down.. But much better now. I haven't needed pain pills either due to them numbing me also. I just started the protein yesterday and I'm down 6 lbs. but am happy now !!! Not fri and sat. I just keep walking around taking it slow to let my insides heal.. I'm afraid I'll over due it !!

Haven't been able to keep anything down including meds. Trying some broth shortly but only had 10 OZ of fluid since fri afternoon

Yes, I agree about this site. I'm so happy I came across it. All the people have helped me throughout pre-op. Meaning just reading everything and became more educated !!! Now I'll be post-op with, I'm sure, many new questions..

Hi. I'm 3 hours post op and sipping chicken broth. I'm a tad uncomfortable, but nothing major. Going for first walk after broth.. Sweet pea has arrived !! (Pouch) ah yep, I am taking pain meds..

Holy crap.. Good for you!! I think the smallest sizes I have around now are 18? I tossed the 10's and up a long time ago.. But cannot wait to empty the wardrobe I have now. I've never lost that kind of weight before.. My tops was about 50 here and there. Big yo yo dieter..

Hmmm my doc said to not drink 30-60 before and after due to if you drink before, your pouch fills up then when you go to eat there's no room ? Says it takes at least that amount of time for the pouch to drain ?? I Don't Know !! Lol my surgery is tomorrow so I don't have any experience yet.

What else are you getting? They gave me a list, like yogurt, pudding, jello, cottage cheese... I stocked up On my way! premier protein shakes. They have them at BJ's for 19 a case. 30 grams of protein and 1 sugar. I'll rely on those until I know what the hell I'll be doing. Lol

Ah huh that's so good to hear.. Yes I've read on a lot of those issues. One woman said to bring gas-x strips just in case. ?? My doctor is putting me anti- reflux meds for life, is that true for everyone else? I don't have any reflux issues now.

Hi... Yes I'm definitely bringing my phone and thought of bringing my iPad too ??? My surgeon says I can't hold anything more than 16 oz's for a few days? Surely my iPad weighs more than that.. I don't know, I got my bag out to start putting my things together. By reading everything on here and what people took with them, I'm going to end up with a damn trunk. Lmao... What is everyone else bringing ?? It sure is setting in though. Quite the life changer, but by choice !!!
