  3. I have been told multiple times that after the surgery I should not drink any liquids 30 minutes before, during, and 30 minutes after eating. Is this because the liquids cause the food to move more quickly through the stomach, resulting in not feeling full as long? Or is it because of malabsorption issues? Or what? Thanks!
  4. I just had my psych eval on Monday! It was a breeze. The psychologist was fast and the eval was to-the-point. It lasted 40 minutes. He asked if I was married, highest level of education, my work, any past MH issues like anxiety or depression, past medical issues such as surgeries, any current medications, if my family was supportive, past diets I've tried, family medical history, and on a scale of 1-10 how ready was I for this surgery? He didn't seem to care much for me to elaborate on any of the questions, he just wanted 'yes' and 'no'. If I went too far in my explanation he would quickly ask the next question. I felt kind of rushed but he was kind and said that I was a great candidate and he would approve me.
