  1. I agree with all of the above. I loved refried beans and put puréed salsa in them to give them A kick in the taste buds. Garlic was also my friend with things like puréed chicken. I really added spices to make things more palatable.
  2. I had my surgery on Dec 9. At my 6 week check the pushed the Protein first and foremost. It is the stage where we are. We will be able to broaden our diet later. I haven't been able to walk due to being in a high snow area. I am down about 40 pounds. One plateau otherwise the scale goes down a bit each day. Slow and steady.
