@@dccarite I had my hiatal hernia repaired during my vsg. Mine was found during my endoscopy but I am sure it will not be a problem.

I was sleeved on 9/13 and came home 9/15. I have a had quite a bit of gas issues but the constant walking has helped; I have also had bm today (hallelujah ????????) I was on full liquids once I got home so a lot of creamed soup and protein drinks. I have lost 14 lbs since day of surgery. I feel good but still a little sore when I try to do too much. I know it will all be worth it!!

I am day 2 post op and I cannot believe how much pain I am in. I thought this would be like my hysterectomy but not even close. The gas pains and soreness are off the charts. I have been walking like crazy too. I think they are sending me home today too. Ugggh, I just want this to pass.

I saw my surgeon today and he does not require a pre op diet! The day before surgery I will be on clear liquids only! I asked about shrinking my liver and he did not seem concerned with it. So,Yay for me! [emoji6]

I can totally relate to how you feel; it's scary to have this surgery but yet if we don't have it then what is our quality of life going to be. I hate hiding everytime I see someone taking photos, or not going to an event because I feel insecure about how I look. This surgery is going to change our lives which will also change the lives of our loved ones as well. The journey will be long and I am sure have a few bumps in the road but we got this!!! ????❤????
