  1. I'm starting this for my records I'm 5'6 A wife. A mother of 4 boys. Highest wt: 285 current wt: 269 Pre Op starts March 5th for Gastric Sleeve, my surgery date is scheduled for March 12th. Lately it's been hard to keep losing at the same time mourning some foods I'll have to say goodbye too for a while....lol And also for some reason I've been noticing how big I really am! I guess I was in denial and now my eyes are becoming clear, the fog is separating, and everyday I want my surgery more and more, and it's actually helping me stay focused.
  2. just remember that you will Make it through and everything will be fine, May god look over you during your surgery and lead you safety through it and fast healing !

  13. I know this might sound really dumb, but did anyone post op wear makeup to surgery? Not that it's important to wear makeup , cus I know it's a serious surgery, but you know how you feel good if you look good, type of thing, I'm Just wondering ?
  14. My reasons were because I gained all my weight with my first pregnancy and also 2 more children, and after that I kept gaining, yo yo dieter also, and I knew I wanted 1 more child (all together I have 4) so I didn't want to have wls then lose weight , I was too scared I would gain it back if I got pregnant after wls, but I know everyone is different, that is just MY reasoning, and for ME, I felt I needed to feel like I wouldn't gain weight after, and another factor this time was that I was diagnosed with sleep Apnea 1 1/2 years ago, and I felt it was time to change so I can safely say I've researched this for many years before I'm finally taking the plunge, feel free to ask me anything

Thank you, and to be honest with you this was my second time getting Refered, the first time I wasn't ready, and I had my last child now that I'm done having kids I decided to do it, and this time I called for everything all appts and kept checking in, I would imagine if you just wait, they will take their time , but I'm not sure, I was just super excited and really ready this time, good luck to you! And hope to see ur journey too
