  1. After 4 weeks I was cleared to do weights, I started off light/high reps until I became comfortable working out again.
  2. I've just started back on weights also and my numbers have slowed down,at first all I did was cardio and now it's a combination of both. I don't lift heavy weight like I did before the Surgery but high reps low weight,I'm losing inches but the scale is moving slower.
  3. I thought it was just me ,I'm one week out and for the last two days I feel hungry also but I try to just keep sipping hoping the feeling will go away.
  4. Had my procedure yesterday, the pain wasn't too bad afterwards I only ask for pain meds right after surgery once which was at 7 a/m. It was a long day for me because of nausea, it did ease later that night, all of the tests look good and the Dr said I can go home today. Trying to get in my water now sip sip all day. Good luck everyone my journey has begun.
  5. I just joined the site a little over a week ago, I'm scheduled on 3/17. Good luck to everyone, I'm just ready to get it over and done(surgery) so I can begin my new life!

  7. Thanks, looks like it will be a lot of Cardio for a few weeks.
  8. I'm sure it varies depending on your Dr but I'm just looking for a consensus on when you were able to start working out after surgery. During my six months wait I've become addicted to the gym and with my surgery date approaching fast (3/17) I'm just wondering how long before I can get back to working out ( I will be asking the doc)?
  9. How long have you been pre-opp, I'm sure everyone's doc requirements are different just curious on time frame?
  10. When I had decided it was time for a change and decided on WLS, my initial visit to the Dr I was hit with the six months wait also and was crushed I had to wait that long. My six months are up and time flew by, surgery is scheduled for 3/19 and I'm so ready to get it over with.
  11. Houston also, just approved on 2/21 with surgery schedule on 3/19.
  12. Congratulations, I also was approved today and a surgery date in March.
  13. It only took one week for my report to be processed, I would called them to get a estimated time frame.

  15. When my wife and I took a trip to Hawaii I needed a seatbelt extender,I told myself I have to do something, upon our return I starting the process . I'm waiting on insurance approval which should be here next week so I can regain control of my life.
