Hi , I am a 47 yr old woman with a BMI of 49 and looking into getting a sleeve gastrectomy. I am in the process of my preops, my insurance tricare won't cover it but since husband is retired military I am allowed to have procedure done at a miltary hospital free.
I am very Leary of this and am looking for advise as to anyone whos had surgery in a mtf stands for military treatment facility.
Thank you to anyone who's had any experience with this.the name of the hospital I'm considering is Walter Reed in Bethesda MD
