Hi Sleevers! I'm 8 weeks out and I need advice on vitamins. I prefer not to chew a vitamin if I can help it and really don't want to take a multivitamin 5-6 times a day (ain't nobody got time for that!). Does anybody have any suggestions and are there any concerns I should know about absorption? Can I take them all at one time etc?

Had a catheter overnight and it was removed the next morning around 6am. Some doctors order for the removal in PACU. Some docs don't cath at all

My medical doctor said her sleeve patients do far better that the bypass patients in that they tend to have more complications. Don't concern yourself with losing it fast, because you will be making a lifestyle change. If you were much heavier I would lean toward the bypass, but I think you will see optimal results with the sleeve. The best of luck to you and keep us updated.

On post op day 18, I awakened with the same pain, same area. Spoke with a PA yesterday who examined me saying it could be an incisional hernia (but didn't see anything on ultrasound) or a residual gallstone that is still in a duct ( had gallbladder removed same time). My doctor, whom I have total confidence in, was in surgery yesterday. So I came home, worried and scared, that it's something serious. Wondering why you haven't reposted a follow up and so hoping you will. I have searched the internet for 4 days and you are the only one that has described my symptoms.
